On 14 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued a citation to Devonne Curtis, age 48, 809 Fifth Street, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, for driving outside the marked lanes of travel and for operating a vehicle with expired license plates. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. Curtis on State Route 7 near County House Lane in Marietta.

On 14 Dec 07 Nathan A. Garner, age 29, 101B Colonial Square, Belpre, reported while he and his father were away from their residence that day an unknown suspect(s) entered the apartment and stole a Brinks safe containing seven bottles of prescription medication, a gold pocket watch and four credit cards. This case remains under investigation (515).

On 14 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued a citation to Timothy C. McGraw Jr., age 25, 830 Ridge Street, Marietta, for failure to reinstate his operator’s license and for having a defective exhaust. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. McGraw on State Route 7 near Tennis Center Drive in Marietta Township.

Christopher J. Starcher, age 24, 405 Florence Street, Belpre, for failing to appear for pretrial on 11 Dec 07.

Shawn N. Bonar, age 31, 134 Whipkey Drive, Waterford, for the theft of 2.95 gallons of gas from the Beverly Par Mar on 2 Dec 07.

Anthony M. Joy, age 23, 263 Dempsie Avenue, Parkersburg, for failing to appear for pretrial on 10 Dec 07.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jeffrey Alan Theiss, age 29, 27130 State Route 7, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Theiss was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 07 at 11:13 am.

James Lee Augenstein, age 60, 816 Luke Chute Road, Waterford, for failure to register as a sex offender, a felony. Augenstein was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 07 at 12:43 pm.

Ronald Dean Welch Jr., age 37, 209 Fearing Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of contempt and for misdemeanor charges of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and violating the terms of his probation. Welch was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 07 at 2:11 pm.

Kevin Walter Reynolds, age 37, 15325 State Route 60, Lowell, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Reynolds was arrested in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 07 at 5:20 pm.

Joseph James Patterson, age 47, 2024 Pennsylvania Avenue Apt. 7, Marietta, for four misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Patterson was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 07 at 5:39 pm.

Jesse Scott Books, age 25, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for assault and for endangering children, both misdemeanors. Books was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 07 at 6:06 pm.

Timothy Cloyce McGraw Jr., age 25, 830 Ridge Street, Marietta, for failure to reinstate his operator’s license and for having a defective exhaust, both misdemeanors. McGraw was arrested on Tennis Center Drive by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 07 at 4:22 pm.

Melissa Dawn Cornell, age 27, 704 Elm Street Apt. 10, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Cornell was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Dec 07 at 10:00 pm.
