On 13 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio investigated
a report of a suspicious male traversing northbound and southbound
on Main Street in Lowell. Deputy Travaglio located the suspect,
identified as Anthony C. Williams, age 34, 313 Fourth Street,
Lowell, and noticed a strong odor of marijuana. Upon patting
down Mr. Williams for weapons, Deputy Travaglio discovered
a metal marijuana pipe and marijuana. Charging Mr. Williams
with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia,
Deputy Travaglio transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 13 Dec 07 a Lowell resident reported seeing
old and shredded carpet dumped along the 700 block of Bear
Creek Road in Lowell. This case remains under investigation
(1106).
On 13 Dec 07 Ryan Winebrenner, age 22, 15685
Waterford Road, Waterford, reported his twenty gauge shotgun
was stolen from his living room sometime since he last saw
it at 4 pm the previous evening. This case remains under investigation
(586).
On 13 Dec 07 Pat Decker, age 36, 11565 State
Route 676, Vincent, reported a large amount of trash, including
tires and computer parts, have been dumped on his property
along Hoover Road over the past few months. This case remains
under investigation (905).
On 13 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Staats responded
to a structure fire at the home of Derek Holdren, age 45, at
4439 State Route 339, Belpre. While Mr. Holdren was transported
to Camden Clark Hospital for smoke inhalation, the Barlow Volunteer
Fire Department extinguished the blaze. A follow up investigation
will be conducted by the state Fire Marshall’s office.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Gary Edward Leaster Jr., age 23, 74611 Old 21 Road, Kimbolton,
OH, for driving under an FRA suspended license, speeding and
for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Leaster was
arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Dec 07
at 1:20 am.
Michael Shawn Williams, age 31, 3995 Pleasant Ridge Road,
Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines and for failure to appear, both misdemeanors.
Williams was arrested in on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Dec 07 at 2:37 am.
Karen Louise Brugger, age 54, 108 Colonial
Square Apt. D, Belpre, for violating the terms of her probation,
a misdemeanor. Brugger was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Dec 07 at 10:20 am.
Anthony Cameron Williams, age 34, 313 Fourth Street, Lowell,
for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs,
both misdemeanors. Williams was arrested on State Route 60
in Lowell by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 13 Dec 07 at 4:22 pm.
