On 5 Dec 07 Jeanne Thompson, age 41, 15 Mercer Road, Stockport, reported fifteen of her neighbor’s cattle were in her yard. Ms. Thompson state this is not the first time the animals entered her yard but that the neighbor immediately moves the cattle when she calls him. This case remains under investigation (1001).

On 5 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a citation to Steven A. Adams, age 25, 1209 ½ Williams Street, Parkersburg, for operating a vehicle without a license. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Adams near milepost three on State Route 60 in Pioneer Township.

On 5 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriffs Smeeks and Travaglio contacted occupants of a vehicle that stopped at the Pit Stop after noticing the two males acting suspiciously. Approaching the vehicle, the Deputies noticed a strong odor of burnt marijuana emanating from inside. A computer check indicated the driver, Fitzgerald Johnson, age 42, 1422 Lee Street Apt C, Charleston, did not have a driver’s license and the passenger, who was the owner of the vehicle, was required to have an interlock system on the vehicle in order for his driver’s license to be valid. Searching the vehicle after it was towed for not having an interlock system; Deputy Travaglio found a marijuana blunt concealed in a soda can. Upon his arrest for driving without a license, Mr. Johnson admitted he smoked marijuana earlier. Additionally charged with possession of marijuana, Johnson was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Juaniqua M. Brown, age 26, 985 E. 17th Street, Columbus, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $130.

Phillip T. Burrill, age 25, 705 Barclay Street Lot 15, Belpre, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $118.30.

Jeremiah D. Clutter, age 21, 113 Spring Street, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $399.10.

Jason T. Darst, age 24, 1342 Saint Marys Avenue, Parkersburg, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $312.

Jason A. Harguess, age 36, 2500 Patterson Ridge Road, Stockport, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $830.70.

Kyle J. Kinney, age 24, 2577 Romig Road Apt. 33, Akron, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $455.

Christopher R. Krueger, age 25, 8500 Dalzell Road, Whipple, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $340.60.

Jason A. Lewton, age 24, 1220 Ardmore Avenue SW, Canton, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $578.50.

Paul S. Pasco, age 45, 310 Main Street, Lowell, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,684.80.

Norma C. Preston, age 36, 728 Third Street, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $244.40.

Robin J. Richards, age 20, 4076 State Route 339, Belpre, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $679.90.

Heather D. Winland, age 27, 288 Patten Mills Road, Bartlett, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $358.80.

Michael L. Winland, age 22, 2380 Hebron Road, Saint Marys, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $995.80.

Lisa M. Deems, age 36, 396 Dodge Avenue, Williamstown, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 20 Nov 07.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Fitzgerald Johnson, age 42, 1422 Lee Street Apt C, Parkersburg, for operating a vehicle without a license and for possession of drugs, both misdemeanors. Johnson was arrested on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Dec 07 at 11:39 am.

Steven Dwain Wagner, age 54, 380 County House Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Wagner was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Dec 07 at 9:50 pm.
