On 3 Dec 07 Sgt. Parks arrested John T. Williams,
age 48, 40704 Sunfish Creek, Beallsville, for possession of
drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Dispatch notified
Sgt. Parks that Mr. Williams, who was following an emergency
squad to the hospital, appeared intoxicate. Contacting Mr.
Williams when he stopped at Go Mart, Sgt. Parks noticed an
odor of burnt marijuana and requested permission to search
Williams’ vehicle. During the search that ensued Sgt.
Parks discovered a bag of marijuana and a pipe Mr. Williams
admitted he used to smoke marijuana that day.
On 3 Dec 07 Verner E. Fortney, age 52, 4350
State Route 530, Lowell, reported he feared for his safety
after his son threatened to “smash his head into a wall
and put him in his grave.” Mr. Fortney said he tried
to intervene when his son John, age 18, began playing too rough
with his younger brother and that’s when the verbal confrontation
occurred. Mr. Fortney also stated his son clenched his fist
in an aggressive fashion and requested a temporary protection
order. Unable to locate the suspect, Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
requested a warrant for John Fortney for domestic violence.
On 3 Dec 07 Deputy Sheriff Eddy requested
a summons for a seventeen year old Marietta resident to appear
in Juvenile Court for being unruly. Deputy Eddy requested the
summons after the teenager’s mother reported her daughter
habitually disobeys household rules and fails to inform her
of her whereabouts.
On 3 Dec 07 Sgt. Parks issued a citation to
James R. Casto, age 57, 1001 Colonial Drive Apt. A6, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license. Sgt. Parks stopped
Mr. Casto at the intersection of Third and Washington Streets
in Marietta.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Randall Wayne Doan II, age 27, 439 Williams Road, Cutler,
a fugitive from justice. Doan was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Dec 07 at 9:50 pm.
Miranda Mae Brookhart, age 27, 440 Long Run Road, Lower Salem,
for driving under a suspended license. Brookhart was arrested
in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 3 Dec 07 at 12:16 am.
Clarence Otto Jeffers II, age 44, 107 Muskingum
Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Jeffers
was arrested on behalf of Probation Officer Brockmeier and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Dec 07 at 8:29
am.
Amanda Jo Sampe, age 27, 217 Fourth Street,
Lowell, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor.
Sampe was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Dec 07 at
11:45 am.
Michael Lee Stover Jr., age 20, 26511 North Street, Coolville,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Stover
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Dec 07 at
2:42 pm.
Serena Fawn Biehl, age 30, 311 Chestnut Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Biehl
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Dec 07 at
5:05 pm.
Steven Douglas Fulton, age 54, 207 Curtis Avenue, Marietta,
for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Fulton was arrested
on Quarry Street by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 3 Dec 07 at 5:10 pm.
