On 14 Nov 07 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to a seventeen year old Marietta resident for not
stopping at a stop sign. Deputy Mankins stopped the teenager
after she failed to stop when turning from the Career Center
onto State Route 676 in Warren Township.
On 14 Nov 07 a Burnett Road resident reported
approximately ninety days ago he found a bag of trash lying
along the road on his property. Unable to determine who deposited
the refuse along the roadway, Lt. Huffer closed this case as
unable to prosecute.
On 14 Nov 07 the owner of Belpre Sand and
Gravel, 315 Cemetery Road, Little Hocking, reported for the
second time in as many months, an unknown suspect(s) broke
into the business. On this occasion the perpetrator(s) stole
$650 in cash, three handheld radios, a welder, a wheel puller
and two saws. This incident remains under investigation (945).
On 14 Nov 07 Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested
Richard D. Bay, age 40, 100 Muskingum Avenue Apt. B, Marietta,
for violating the terms of a protection order. Earlier in the
day Mary E. Francis, age 45, 101 Evans Street Apt. 6, New Matamoras,
reported Bay phoned her thirty-two times and insinuated he
could kill her by saying “there were a lot of places
in Morgan County where he could drop her.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jackie Lee Fawbush, age 33, 1629 Fifth Avenue
Apt. 82, Columbus, for having a weapon while under disability,
a felony. Fawbush was picked up at the Ross Correctional Institution
by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Nov 07 at 1:42 pm.
Phillip Conrad Hughes, age 22, 148 Woodlawn Avenue, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation and for violating
the terms of a protection order, both misdemeanors. Hughes
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Nov 07
at 2:52 pm.
Aaron Matthew Hess, age 28, 410 ½ Warren Street, Marietta,
for a felony charge of violating the terms of his parole and
for three misdemeanor counts of domestic violence. Hess was
arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Gault and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 14 Nov 07 at 7:41 pm.
Richard Dyle Bay, age 40, 100 Muskingum Avenue Apt. B, Marietta,
for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Bay was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Nov 07 at 10:49
pm.
