On 10 Nov 07 an employee of Reynolds Landscape
Company, 323 Drag Strip Road, Belpre, reported when he arrived
at work that morning he noticed a window to the business was
broken. From inside, the employee said a cash drawer containing
$300 was missing. This case remains under investigation (1299).
On 10 Nov 07 Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested
summonses for three thirteen year old Parkersburg residents
to appear in Juvenile Court for being delinquent. Earlier that
morning a resident on Wrights Road in Marietta reported the
three males entered his property without permission, emptied
a bag of fish food into his pond and burnt a dozen tiki torches
and several hurricane lamps. The victim said he followed the
juveniles to a residence on Mitchell’s Lane after they
took a tackle box. When interviewed, all three boys admitted
their actions which resulted in $150 damages to the victim’s
property.
On 10 Nov 07 James Andrews, age 22, 952 Gantsville
Road, Little Hocking, reported two friends spent the night
at his home that night and when they left a twenty gauge shotgun
was missing. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 10 Nov 07 Rick A. Hall, age 52, 34911 Rock
Camp Road, New Matamoras, struck a deer as he traveled southbound
on State Route 260, 1.5 miles north of County Road 138. Mr.
Hall’s Chevy van sustained functional damage; he reported
no injuries (1184).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Trice Jahorme Daniell, age 20, 1004 16th Street, Parkersburg,
for criminal damaging, a misdemeanor. Daniell was arrested
at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Kampmeier of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 Nov 07 at 1:18 am.
John Christopher Fortney, age 18, 4350 State Route 530, Lowell,
for intimidation, aggravated menacing and for obstructing official
business, all misdemeanors. Fortney was arrested at Marietta
Mills Apartments by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
10 Nov 07 at 5:45 am.
Larry William Ridgeway Jr., age 30, 4815 Jackson Run Road,
New Matamoras, for a felony charge of failure to comply with
the order/signal of an officer and a misdemeanor charge of
endangering children. Ridgeway was arrested by Chief Bourne
of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 07 at 12:15 pm.
Michael Douglas Lamp, age 30, 308 Main Street Apt. 3, New
Matamoras, for driving under a suspended license and for having
a defective exhaust, both misdemeanors. Lamp was arrested near
milepost seventeen on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10
Nov 07 at 5:10 pm.
Michael Edward Grayson, age 20, Kelby Lane, Waterford, for
passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Grayson was arrested in
Beverly by Chief Brockmeier of the Beverly Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Nov 07
at 10:10 pm.
