On 5 Nov 07 Aaron E. Miller, age 25, 3565 Righteous Ridge Road, Waterford, reported his former live-in girlfriend Ashley D. McNabb, age 23, 955 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, was at his residence to retrieve property when an argument over a digital camera ensued. Asked by Mr. Miller to stop rummaging through his truck looking for the camera, Ms. McNabb charged toward Mr. Miller and punched him in the right side of his face. In consequence, Deputy Smeeks arrested Ms. McNabb for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 5 Nov 07 David D. Wilson, age 56, 2795 Pleasants Ridge Road, Marietta, reported overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked garage, rooted through the console of his vehicle and stole $2 in change. This case remains under investigation (1106).

On 5 Nov 07 Michael A. Wingrove, age 60, 2510 Bellview Street, Belpre, reported several plastic bins containing six Lionel train engines and over 100 cars he has been collecting for the last twenty-five years were stolen from the loft of his home sometime since 12 Sep 07. Mr. Wingrove estimates the loss of the collectibles is more than $6,000. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 5 Nov 07 Marie B. Gustke, age 81, 915 State Route 124, Coolville, reported a family member stole several checks from her Memory Mall antique shop, forged and cashed them for a total of $1,675. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 5 Nov 07 Jeff Headlee, age 49, 217 Culver Run Road, Waterford, reported an individual drove by his home, made an obscene gesture at his girlfriend and held up what appeared to be the barrel of a gun. Deputy Sheriff Malone interviewed Mr. Headlee and the alleged suspect and determined there was no basis for a criminal complaint.

On 5 Nov 07 William Farley, age 48, 2445 Bear Run Road, Reno, reported on 3 Nov an unknown person threw a bag of trash in his yard. This case remains under investigation (953).

On 5 Nov 07 Gatha Davis, age 65, 2187 State Route 550, Cutler, reported on 29 Oct that she noticed four chips in her front window that she believes were caused by a pellet gun or by thrown rocks. This case remains under investigation (792).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrant:

Derek G. Holdren, 156 First Street, Vincent, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of paying Marietta city taxes from 2001 through 2006.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Carla Marie O’Neill, age 37, 115 Deer Haven Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. O’Neill was arrested on behalf of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Nov 07 at 11:26 am.

Wayne Landon Ruth, age 21, 1114 State Route 339, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Ruth was arrested on behalf of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Nov 07 at 2:56 pm.
