On 4 Nov 07 Robert Deem, age 58, 1315 Tower Road, Little Hocking,
reported he was attending a meeting of five joint landowners
of a 250 acre property when one of the other landowners assaulted
him. Mr. Deem said his assailant showed up at the meeting angry,
a verbal disagreement ensued and the two engaged in fisticuffs.
Due to the vagaries of statements provided by parties on each
side of the conflict, this case remains under investigation
(586).
On 4 Nov 07 Joshua L. Bonnette, age 29, 1357 Goose Run Road,
Marietta, reported his brown leather jacket was stolen while
he played pool at the Misty Blue for several hours on Saturday
night. This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 4 Nov 07 Deputy Sheriff Johnson responded to an ATV accident
that occurred near Whitewater Road in Stockport. A witness
reported the victim, Charles J. Tkach, age 47, 5125 Oak Hill
Road, Stockport, attempted to ascend a hill on his ATV when
the four wheeler rolled back over him. Mr. Tkach complained
of back pain and was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital
for further treatment.
