On 29 Oct 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued
a citation to Aaron J. Sarver, age 21, 15936 State Route 550,
Fleming, for driving with a license that expired six months
ago. Deputy Rhodes stopped Mr. Sarver on State Route 7 at Bender
Road in Warren Township.
On 29 Oct 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued
a citation to Adam W. Brooker, age 26, 1045 Sandhill Road,
Marietta, for not wearing a seat belt. Deputy Travaglio stopped
Mr. Brooker on Pike Street near N. Hart Street in Marietta.
On 29 Oct 07 a fifty-four year old Belpre
resident reported receiving from an individual an email that
is threatening in nature. This case remains under investigation
(790).
On 29 Oct 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio requested
a summons for a sixteen year old Marietta resident to appear
in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by domestic violence.
In his affidavit Deputy Travaglio states the juvenile punched
and fractured the left cheek of his forty-one year old stepfather
after being reprimanded for swearing at his mother.
LOCAL AND STATE AGENCIES CONDUCT DRUG INTERDICTION
Local and State Agencies conducted a joint
enforcement effort during the weekend in Washington and Athens
County. Agencies participating were the Ohio State Highway
Patrol, Athens, Marietta and Belpre Police Departments, Athens,
Morgan, and Washington County Sheriff’s Offices, Bureau
of Criminal Investigation and Identification; Washington
and Athens County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and
Marietta City Law Directors Office. K-9 units from Marietta
Police Department, Belpre Police Department, Athens County
Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol also participated.
The objective of the operation was the promotion
of traffic safety, drug interdiction and the location and
serving of warrants on fugitives. The following is a summary
of the activity:

The following individual
was processed into the Washington County Jail:
Amber Lynn Feibel, age 30, 420 School Street,
Macksburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, for violating the terms of his probation and
for contempt for not paying fines, all misdemeanors. Feibel
was picked up at the Guernsey County Jail by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 29 Oct 07 at 11:30 am.
