On 23 Oct 07 Brenda L. Surratt, age 46, 128
Devol Drive, Marietta, reported she believes a family member
took her Discover card and used it to make purchases of $500
on 14 Oct 07. This case remains under investigation (515).
On 23 Oct 07 Corrections Officer Rist was
processing Michael J. Siders, age 27, 3150 Indian Run Road,
Marietta, back into the jail after the inmate’s court
ordered medical appointment when he discovered twelve pills
wrapped in plastic taped between Siders’ legs. Questioned
by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole, Siders stated he returned to his
home during his release, obtained the Ativan pills and attempted
to return to jail with them. As a result, Deputy Stackpole
charged Siders with illegally conveying items into a detention
facility.
On 23 Oct 07 Lesley A. Knotts, age 33, 80
Williams Bridge Road, Coolville, reported sometime overnight
the driver of a four wheel drive truck into and knocked down
a cattle gate to his farm on State Route 555 in Bartlett. This
case remains under investigation (792).
On 23 Oct 07 Alan Anderson, age 66, 296 Anderson
Road, Fleming, reported between 10 pm the previous night and
11 am that morning an unknown suspect(s) entered the detached
garage next to his home and stole a Dewalt hand saw. This case
remains under investigation (586).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Stacy Ray Robinson Sr., age 39, 5355 State
Route 26, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole,
a felony. Robinson was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hilverding
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 23 Oct 07 at 11:00 am.
Leota Ann Davis, age 24, 20255 Brawley Road, Stewart, for
passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested in Belpre
by Patrolman Clevenger of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Oct 07
at 11:53 am.
Mark Thompson, age 37, 708 Eighth Street, Marietta, for violating
the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested
at the APA office by Lt. Coppernoll of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 Oct 07 at 2:20 pm.
Jeffrey Alan Engle, age 47, 200 Maple Grove Road, Waterford,
for theft, a misdemeanor. Engle was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 Oct 07 at 6:25 pm.
