On 21 Oct 07 Sean M. Delaney, age 19, RR 1 Box 88A, Elizabeth, WV, sustained internal injuries while riding an ATV with friends at 17612 State Route 555, Cutler. Mr. Delaney was transported to Camden Clark Hospital by the Wesley Township Fire Department and later life-flighted to Charleston for further treatment (1293).

On 21 Oct 07 Richard Haught Jr., age 69, 513 Smith Street, Marietta, reported he realized his 1988 Chevy truck had been stolen after the Highway Patrol informed him the vehicle was involved in a crash. Mr. Haught stated the truck was taken from his son’s residence, caught fire and was abandoned on Millers Lane. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 21 Oct 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio arrested Leslie E. Holiday Jr., age 21, 5944 State Route 821, Lowell, for a felony and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drugs. During a traffic stop for not using a turn signal, Deputy Travaglio noticed the passenger making suspicious movements. Granted permission to search the vehicle by the driver, Deputy Travaglio discovered an unlabeled pill bottle containing Percocet and hydrocodone. Mr. Holiday admitted the pills were his but claimed he thought they were ibuprofen.

On 21 Oct 07 the owner of Blue Heron Estates, School House Road, Little Hocking, reported an unknown suspect(s) entered the vacant home at lot 38 sometime since 17 Oct. The victim stated it appears the suspect(s) spent time in the home, popped popcorn, drank rum and even vomited in a toilet. This case remains under investigation (1293).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Leslie Eugene Holiday Jr., age 21, 5944 State Route 821, Lowell, for a felony and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drugs. Holiday was arrested on State Route 821 by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Oct 07 at 1:50 am.

Chad Wayne Williams, age 25, 4492 Anderson Road, Fleming, for felony charges of failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer and for violating the terms of his parole and for a misdemeanor charge of possession of drugs. Williams was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Fields of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Oct 07 at 7:50 am.

Thomas Michael Emerick, age 38, 1421 Lancaster Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Emerick was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Oct 07 at 7:56 pm.

Stacy Mechale Dickson, age 25, 263 Church Street Apt. 3, Ripley, WV, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Dickson was arrested on Washington Boulevard in Belpre by Patrolman Davis of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Oct 07 at 8:26 pm.

Michael Joseph Littleton, age 19, 710 Front Street Apt. 11, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Littleton was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Oct 07 at 10:22 pm.

Lewis Edward Muro, age 30, 728 Fourth Street, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Muro was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Oct 07 at 11:44 pm.
