On 13 Oct 07 Tracy Gibson, age 37, 4419 State Route 269, Castalia, OH, reported she is staying in a cabin on Wiley Road in New Matamoras while visiting a friend. Ms. Gibson stated that during a two hour window when she was away from the unlocked cabin an unknown suspect(s) stole $235 in cash from her purse. This case remains under investigation (953).

On 13 Oct 07 Sgt. Stackpole issued a citation to Lawrence Dawson Jr., age 55, 149 Harmar Street, Marietta, for operating a vehicle with tags that expired in July 2007. Sgt. Stackpole stopped Mr. Dawson at the intersection of Harmar and Market Streets in Pioneer Township.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Sean Anthony Nalle, age 22, 219 Meigs Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Nalle was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Oct 07 at 3:40 am.

Kimberly Denise Holliday, age 42, 885 Long Run Road, Newport, for operating a vehicle without a license, for having fictitious plates and for having inoperable license plate light, all misdemeanors. Holliday was arrested on State Route 7 in Reno by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Oct 07 at 5:55 am.
