On 9 Oct 07 the owner of Canterbury Electric, 1163 Sand Ridge Road, Waterford, reported overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked company van and stole three spools of ½ inch copper wire valued at approximately $1,400. A resident at nearby 837 Sand Ridge Road reported during the same time frame, between 11 pm on 8 Oct and 5:50 am on 9 Oct, a Horton crossbow was stolen from an unlocked truck. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 9 Oct 07 Bradley W. Cozzens, age 27, 1717 Mitchell’s Lane, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect(s) entered his home while he and his wife were at work and stole a mason jar containing approximately $40 in change. This case remains under investigation (1184).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Joseph Michael Baldwin, age 25, 16057 Fruit Farm Road, Amesville, for OVI, failure to obey a traffic control device, possession of drug paraphernalia and for using a weapon while intoxicated, all misdemeanors. Baldwin was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Oct 07 at 12:50 am.

Michael Dale Valentine, age 29, 305 Harmar Street, Marietta, a fugitive from justice, a felony. Valentine was arrested on Sunset Drive in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Oct 07 at 9:45 am.

Chad Wayne Williams, age 25, 4492 Anderson Road, Fleming, for aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor. Williams turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Oct 07 at 11:15 am.

David Lee Rowe Jr., age 31, 804 Clement Avenue, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Rowe was arrested on behalf of Probation Officer Smith and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Oct 07 at 1:36 pm.
