On 4 Oct 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued a
citation to Nancy D. Walker, age 49, 2836 Sealy Ridge Road,
Vincent, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Rhodes
stopped Ms. Walker near milepost three on State Route 339 in
Belpre Township.
On 4 Oct 07 Brenda K. Myers, age 37, 105 Shawnee
Drive, Marietta, reported her eleven and fourteen year old
sons told her the father of a boy that antagonizes them scared
them and called them names while they were riding their bikes
in the Devola area. This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 4 Oct 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued a
citation to Justin R. Holland, age 25, 150 Camelot Road Lot
36, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license and for driving
with tags that expired in February 2007. Deputy Rhodes stopped
Mr. Holland at the intersection of Ayers Boulevard and State
Route 7 in Dunham Township.
On 4 Oct 07 Kevin A. Bennett, age 22, 506
Hill Street, Lowell, reported sometime since loaning his Honda
generator to a friend on 20 Aug, the generator was stolen from
his friend’s residence at 3065 Lowell Hill Road. This
case remains under investigation (1184).
On 4 Oct 07 Lt. Canavan issued a citation
to a seventeen year old Vincent resident for traveling 75 mph
in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Canavan stopped the teenager on State
Route 339 near Sweet Apple Road in Barlow Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Crystal Dawn Kerns, age 31, 227 Sheldon Avenue, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Kerns was arrested at the Locker Room
in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
4 Oct 07 at 12:17 am.
Samuel Abraham Hartshorn, age 29, 180 Cornerville Road, Marietta,
for OVI, a misdemeanor. Hartshorn was arrested on Millers Lane
by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Oct 07 at 12:57 am.
Charles Edward Miller II, age 25, 3981 Bower Road, Rootstown,
OH, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested on Interstate
77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 4 Oct 07 at 2:46 am.
Tyson Chad Hill, age 26, 175 Goose Run Road, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by fighting, resisting arrest and for criminal
trespassing, all misdemeanors. Hill was arrested at Marietta
College by Officer Travaglio of the Marietta College Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
4 Oct 07 at 4:39 am.
Justin Michael Gossett, age 26, 407 Spring Street, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by fighting, resisting arrest and for
criminal trespassing, all misdemeanors. Gossett was arrested
on Butler Street in Marietta by Officer Travaglio of the Marietta
College Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Oct 07 at 6:15 am.
Jamar Keith Mattox, age 25, 2158 Oromond Road,
Columbus, for obstructing official business and for possession
of drugs, both misdemeanors. Mattox was arrested at the Noble
County line by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 4 Oct 07 at 1:00 pm.
Anthony William Kennedy, age 24, 106 Wood Street, Marietta,
for receiving stolen property, a felony. Kennedy was picked
up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 4 Oct 07 at 2:40 pm.
Jennifer Louise Johnson, age 29, 51170 State Route 7, New
Matamoras, for violating the terms of a protection order, a
misdemeanor. Johnson was arrested at her residence by Chief
Bourne of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 4 Oct 07 at 7:30 pm.
