On 2 Oct 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio responded
to an alarm at B & W Pharmacy at 501 Dietz Lane, Beverly.
At the scene Deputy Travaglio observed a cinder block was thrown
through a rear window of the building. The suspect(s) were
unable to gain entry and no property is missing. Deputy Travaglio
forwarded this case to the Beverly Police Department for further
investigation.
On 2 Oct 07 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a
citation to John S. Sprouse, age 32, 290 Woods Edge Court,
West Lafayette, IN, for failure to obey a traffic control device.
Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Sprouse after he failed to stop at
as red light at the intersection of Third and Greene Streets
in Marietta.
On 2 Oct 07 Kathleen Boyd, age 64, 786 Luke
Chute Road, Waterford, reported overnight approximately seventy-five
signs advertising her campaign for Waterford Township trustee
were stolen from various intersections and other locations
in the township. This case remains under investigation (1293).
On 2 Oct 07 Gary E. Weese, age 54, 934 McGill
Road, Vincent, reported between 30 Sep and 1 Oct an unknown
suspect(s) threw an object at the glass of the residence’s
back door and shattered. The suspect(s) did not gain entry
but did damage the metal on the entry door. This case remains
under investigation (1293).
On 2 Oct 07 Nancy Elder, age 57, 165 Mill
Branch Road, Belpre, reported between 6:15 and 10:30 that evening
an unknown suspect entered her home through the locked rear
door of her residence. Ms. Elder stated no property is missing.
This case remains under investigation (515).
On 2 Oct 07 Arthur Myers, age 37, 208 Brittigan
Circle, Marietta, reported being assaulted by his live-in girlfriend
Kristi N. Lightfritz, age 22. Beginning with an argument over
the use of their vehicle, Mr. Myers began packing his belongings
and stated their relationship was over and he was moving. Ms.
Lightfritz responded by blocking Mr. Myers’ exit from
the bedroom and basement doors and grabbed his neck. Again,
when Mr. Myers arrived at the front door Ms. Lightfritz blocked
the door and grabbed his neck. Mr. Myers finally escaped by
kicking his girlfriend and fled when a family member picked
him up. Claiming she was the victim in the incident but unable
to explain the injuries to Mr. Myers, Ms. Lightfritz was arrested
for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County
Jail (945).
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Katherine Louise Edwards, age 48, 122 Harmar
Street, Marietta, for failure to appear, a felony. Edwards
was arrested at her residence by Detective Schuck of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Oct 07 at 12:05 pm.
Kristi Nicole Lightfritz, age 22, 208 Brittigan Circle, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Lightfritz was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Oct 07 at 6:36 pm.
Jemmy Dwight Boyce, age 46, 729 Eighth Street, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Boyce was arrested at his residence by Deputy
Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 2 Oct 07 at 7:23 pm.
