On 29 Sep 07 Sgt. Stackpole issued a citation
to Corey J. Rose, age 21, 912 33rd Street, Vienna, for failure
to obey a traffic control device. Sgt. Stackpole stopped Mr.
Rose for turning right on red from Farson Street onto US 50
in Blennerhassett Township.
On 29 Sep 07 Rebecca D. Sparks, age 24, 836
Pike Street Apt. 7, Marietta, reported while friends of hers
spent time at her apartment over the last week they may have
stolen a necklace, two Playstation games and six DVD’s.
This case remains under investigation (790).
On 29 Sep 07 the sister of Roy Rex, age 53,
reported sometime since her brother was arrested and hospitalized
on 24 Sep, an unknown suspect broke as window to enter his
home at 100 Hanover Road, Cutler. Mr. Rex’s sister was
unsure if anything was stolen from inside but did state that
her brother’s 2002 green Kia was missing. This case remains
under investigation (586).
On 29 Sep 07 Jacey Ray, age 18, 100 Ellsworth
Drive, Marietta, reported sometime during the night an unknown
suspect punctured three tires on her brother’s car. This
case remains under investigation (953).
On 29 Sep 07 Victoria R. Kyer, age 25, 134
Masonic Park Lane Apt. 3, Marietta, reported while she was
at work that evening an unknown suspect entered her apartment
and stole over $500 in cash. This case remains under investigation
(1106).
On 29 Sep 07 an employee of D & D Exhaust,
45 Sand Ridge Road, Waterford, reported last Wednesday or Thursday
night an unknown suspect(s) broke into the shop and stole between
twenty and thirty catalytic converters valued at over $2,000.
This case remains under investigation (500).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Sean Paul Reed, age 20, 2397 Benton Avenue, Akron, for OVI
and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors.
Reed was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29
Sep 07 at 3:35 am.
Joshua Allen Countryman, age 19, 509 Montgomery Street, Marietta,
for attempted rape, a felony. Countryman was arrested on Third
Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 29 Sep 07 at 6:56 pm.
