On 22 Sep 07 Deputy Sheriffs Rhodes and Travaglio investigated a report of an intoxicated male screaming profanities. Witnesses stated James A. Mounts, age 59, 705 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, had been drinking beer and smoking marijuana all day and was being aggressive toward them. Mr. Mounts was uncooperative with the Deputies and swung his arms as they attempted to search him for weapons. Mounts continued to resist while being placed under arrest, prompting Deputies Rhodes and Travaglio to force him to the ground to place him in custody. Charged with resisting arrest, obstructing official business, disorderly conduct by intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia, Mr. Mounts was then transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 22 Sep 07 Samuel R. Uppole, age 44, 1117 Smith Hill Road, Marietta, reported he believes an acquaintance stole $150 from his wallet sometime that morning. This case remains under investigation (953).

On 22 Sep 07 Carl S. Vandale, age 54, 585 Goose Run Road, Marietta, reported sometime during the past two weeks a jar containing over $1,500 in change was stolen from his home. This case remains under investigation (1106).

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

James Allen Mounts, age 59, 705 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, for resisting arrest, obstructing official business, possession of drug paraphernalia and for disorderly conduct by intoxication, all misdemeanors. Mounts was arrested at 703 Silver Globe Road by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Sep 07 at 3:45 pm.
