On 19 Sep 07 Detective Parks requested a summons for an eleven year old Marietta resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The boy’s foster father stated the juvenile dented his van earlier in the week and on today’s date he poured acetone all over the bathroom and strewn about a number of personal toiletries.

On 19 Sep 07 Deputy Sheriff Carr investigated an assault complaint that occurred on King Avenue in Cutler. A seventeen year old Bartlett resident reported she was arguing with her ex-boyfriend Donald J. Hill, age 23, 857 Southland Cemetery Road, Cutler, when he grabbed her arm and the two tumbled to the ground. Determining no assault transpired, Deputy Carr issued a minor misdemeanor citation to Mr. Hill for disorderly conduct.

SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR FAILURE TO REGISTER AS AN OFFENDER

On 19 Sept 07 Lt. Wilson arrested Dirk Edward Filon, age 23, 717 Wayne Street, Marietta, Oh for failure to register as a sex offender. Through a criminal history check, Wilson learned that Filon has been convicted of sexual assault with a child in Adam County, State of Colorado on 12 Dec 05 and failed to appear for sentencing. Filon has been living with his parent in Marietta since 14 July 07. He is currently being held in the Washington County Jail pending an appearance in Marietta Municipal Court. Filon also has a criminal history in the States of Ohio, California and Florida.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

James Michael Crum, age 20, 52 Lake Washington Club Drive, Washington, WV, for breaking and entering, a felony. Crum was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Sep 07 at 10:30 am.

Ronald Bruce Sheridan, age 36, 704 Butler Street, Marietta, for passing bad checks and for breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Sheridan was arrested on Engleside Avenue by Detective Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Sep 07 at 1:18 pm.

Dirk Edward Filon, age 23, 110 Knox Street Apt. 35, Marietta, for a felony charge of failing to register as a sex offender and for a misdemeanor charge of operating with an expired license. Filon was arrested on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Sep 07 at 2:58 pm.

Nathan Sean Tyson, age 20, 1115 Lovers Lane, Beverly, for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Tyson was arrested on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Sep 07 at 3:11 pm.

Scott Everett Collins, age 22, 618 Jefferson Street Apt. 3, Fairborn, OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Collins turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Sep 07 at 7:23 pm.

Richard Henry Haught Jr., age 47, 513 Smith Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Haught was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Sep 07 at 11:20 pm.
