On 12 Sep 07 Gregory G. Sullivan, age 21,
4980 Mayle Ridge Road, Cutler, reported when his eight hour
shift at Influent ended at 11:45 that evening he noticed the
CD/DVD player with seven inch screen was ripped out of the
dash of his vehicle. This case remains under investigation
(1001).
On 12 Sep 07 Jamie C. Adams, age 26, 2231
McGill Road, Belpre, reported he was inside his home when at
1:45 am he heard a loud noise at his basement door and he suspects
his ex-girlfriend Gulsen Cummings, age 24, 142 Chateau Hills,
Parkersburg, broke the glass in the door. En Route to the scene,
Deputy Sheriff Smeeks observed Ms. Cummings’ vehicle
traveling in the opposite direction on State Route 339 and
conducted a traffic stop. When questioned, Ms. Cummings stated
she was angry after she peered inside a window and saw Mr.
Adams with another female but denied damaging the door. As
a result of his investigation, Deputy Smeeks requested a summons
for Ms. Cummings for criminal mischief.
On 12 Sep 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued
a citation to a fifteen year old Marietta resident for driving
without a license, for having a defective exhaust and for having
an inoperable license plate light. Deputy Travaglio stopped
the juvenile on State Route 7 at Grandview Avenue in Grandview
Township.
On 12 Sep 07 Vida Carlson, age 91, 150 Browns
Road Room C28, Marietta, reported $234 and a gold necklace
were stolen from her room at the Inn at Marietta while she
attended the fireworks on 8 Sep 07. This case remains under
investigation (500).
On 12 Sep 07 Deputy Sheriff Reynolds was dispatched
to the scene of death of an eighty-seven year old Beverly resident.
The woman’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.
On 12 Sep 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued
minor misdemeanor citations to Jennifer M. Wilmoth, age 23,
and Christopher J. Richards, age 28, both of 30 Abicht Drive,
Newport, for disorderly conduct. Deputy Travaglio’s investigation
into a 911 hang up call revealed that Ms. Wilmoth and Mr. Richards
were both intoxicated and arguing. During their argument over
a phone call Mr. Richards received from his ex-girlfriend,
both subjects threw and broke several items inside the residence.
Neither party indicated they were in fear for their safety.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Kimberly Sue Donohue, age 34, 828 Summit Street,
Alliance, OH, for receiving stolen property, a felony. Donohue
was arrested on interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Sep 07
at 2:10 am.
Terry Gilbert Dalton, age 41, 1313 Jewett
Drive, Zanesville, for domestic violence, a felony. Dalton
was picked up at the Southeastern Regional Jail in Nelsonville
by Lt. Coppernoll of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12
Sep 07 at 4:00 pm.
Megan Renae Oliver, age 18, 368 Moss Hollow Road, Chillicothe,
for juvenile offenses, a felony. Oliver was picked up at the
Ross County Sheriff’s Office by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Sep 07
at 4:45 pm.
Brandon Lee Hoffert, age 22, 410 Fearing Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hoffert
was arrested by Probation Officer Ferrell and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 12 Sep 07 at 6:51 pm.
Steven Matthew Pierce, age 18, 12500 State Route 690, Athens,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Pierce was picked up at the Athens County
line by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 12 Sep 07 at 7:03 pm.
Sheldon Dwight Hill, age 24, 11776 State Route 555, Cutler,
for violating the terms of his probation and for failure to
appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors.
Hill was arrested on State Route 555 in Cutler by Deputy Sheriff
Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Sep
07 at 7:22 pm.
