On 10 Sep 07 John R. Zimmer, age 50, 1060 Van Fossen Road, Lowell, reported overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered his garage and ransacked the inside of his two vehicles. While nothing was stolen from Mr. Zimmer, his neighbor stated loose change was taken from three vehicles in his driveway. A resident on nearby Laurel Ridge Road also reported two vehicles in her driveway were entered and a checkbook and loose change stolen. This case remains under investigation (232, 1184).

On 10 Sep 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks requested a summons for a sixteen year old Waterford resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The juvenile’s father stated his son left their residence the previous evening after an argument over his son’s girlfriend possibly being pregnant. Several hours later the juvenile returned home on his own accord.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Dana Patrick McAllister, age 38, 3849 Barkwood Court, Winston-Salem, NC, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. McAllister was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Sep 07 at 1:20 am.

Larry James Freeland, age 35, 603 Main Street Apt. C, Belpre, for violating the terms of his parole, a misdemeanor. Freeland was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gault and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Sep 07 at 11:16 am.

Christopher D. Hopkins, age 25, 62269 State Route 124, Long Bottom, for four felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Hopkins was picked up in Meigs County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Sep 07 at 12:30 pm.
