RUN OVER OFFICERS
On 5 Sep 07, after working a lengthy investigation into the
trafficking of tar heroin, the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force
and the Major Crimes Task Force conducted a buy-bust operation
at a rest stop along US 50 in Athens County. After an undercover
operative purchased five balloons containing tar heroin from

for treatment for injuries sustained in the crash, officers
recovered additional tar heroin from his vehicle. Stewart was
later released from the hospital and transported to the South
East Ohio Regional Jail where he is incarcerated pending a
court appearance.

a search warrant at Stewart’s residence where they recovered
suspected stolen property, cocaine, firearms and drug paraphernalia.
