On 22 Aug 07 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued minor misdemeanor citations for disorderly conduct by fighting to Russell L. Hanes II, age 32, 4370 Fifteenmile Creek Road, Marietta, and his live-in girlfriend Michelle L. Thompson, age 32. Originally believing the incident was an act of domestic violence, Deputy Mankins learned the two parties were equally involved in the minor skirmish and neither feared for their safety.

On 22 Aug 07 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued a citation to Chester H. Dains, age 21, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 1B, New Matamoras, for driving under a suspended license and for having a defective headlight. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. Dains on State Route 7 near Grandview Hill Road in Grandview Township.

On 22 Aug 07 a noncommissioned officer with the US Army reported sometime during the previous evening an unknown suspect(s) broke a window to the left of the main entrance at the reserve center at 27830 State Route 7, Marietta. This case remains under investigation (1106).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Wayne Anthony Rhodes, age 18, 611 Cross Street, Belpre, for juvenile offenses, a misdemeanor. Rhodes was arrested on State Route 339 by Deputy Sheriff Spencer and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Aug 07 at 1:31 am.

Jacob John Blazosky, age 26, 820 Ferncliff Drive, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for driving under a suspended license, both misdemeanors. Blazosky was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Hilverding of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Aug 07 at 9:49 am.

Nicky Lee Lamp, age 34, 41 Dunn Lane, New Matamoras, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, failure to appear, for abusing harmful intoxicants and for OVI, all misdemeanors. Lamp was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Hilverding of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Aug 07 at 10:04 am.

Clarence Mitch Coulverson, age 35, 7006 Detroit Avenue Apt. B2, Cleveland, for felony charges of possession of drugs and obstructing justice and misdemeanor charges of breach of recognizance and failure to appear. Coulverson was picked up in Cuyahoga County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Aug 07 at 2:48 pm.

William Henry Thomas, age 38, 639 Phillips Street, Marietta, for wildlife violations, a misdemeanor. Thomas was arrested on Ohio Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Aug 07 at 8:04 pm.

Amber Loraine Sparks, age 27, 313 Franklin Street, Marietta, for burglary, theft and forgery, all felonies. Sparks was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Aug 07 at 10:56 pm.

Carrie Esther Maine, age 24, 540 Rummer Road, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Maine was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Aug 07 at 11:25 pm.
