On 4 Aug 07 Carol Hughey, age 58, 8390 Highland
Ridge Road, Lowell, reported a diamond and emerald ring valued
at $1,000 and a pickle jar containing over $700 in quarters
were both stolen sometime since she last noticed them two weeks
ago. This case remains under investigation (945).
On 4 Aug 07 Erica R. Heiss, age 34, 785 Silver
Globe Road, Marietta, reported she awoke that evening and observed
her neighbor Jeffrey Denton, age 37, 735 Silver Globe Road,
enter her home and dial a number on her phone. Ms. Heiss stated
she allowed Mr. Denton to use her phone in the past but did
not give him permission to enter her residence at will. When
questioned, Mr. Denton admitted entering the house and as a
result will be issued a summons to appear in court for trespassing
(1293).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Jonathan Huffman, age 26, 797 Channel Lane, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Huffman
was arrested on behalf of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 07 at 1:10 am.
Gretchen Adair Mace, age 22, 18001 State Route 676, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Mace was arrested on State Route 676 by Sgt. Brockmeier of
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 07 at 2:52 am.
Daniel Jacob Mitchell, age 20, 259 Mayle Road, Mineral Wells,
for OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors.
Mitchell was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug
07 at 3:07 am.
Jason Lee Bartimus, age 31, 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Bartimus was arrested on State Route
60 by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Aug 07 at 10:45 am.
Rusty Joe Casto, age 25, Frost Road, Coolville, for a felony
charge of theft and for misdemeanor charges of theft, possession
of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear. Casto was arrested
at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 4 Aug 07 at 5:15 pm.
Joshua Lee Bonnette, age 29, 1357 Goose Run Road, Marietta,
for failure to reinstate his operator’s license and for
not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Bonnette was arrested
at the intersection of Third and Greene Street in Marietta
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Aug 07 at 9:00 pm.
Joseph Adam McKitrick, age 27, 3010 Burnett Road, Cutler,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. McKitrick was arrested on State Route
550 in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
4 Aug 07 at 10:15 pm.
