On 26 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued a citation to Frank A. Bartlett, age 56, 124 Mound Drive, Marietta, for driving with tags that expired in June 2006. Deputy Rhodes stopped Mr. Bartlett on Interstate 77 at State Route 821 in Muskingum Township.

On 26 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a citation to Antoine Monroe, age 36, USS Vicksburg CG69, for traveling 76 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Monroe on Interstate 77 at milepost four in Muskingum Township.

On 26 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a minor misdemeanor citation to Michael R. Patterson, age 32, 112 Virginia Creek Drive, Hampstead, NC, for possession of marijuana. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Patterson on Interstate 77 near milepost thirteen for having a cracked windshield and his canine indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle. The ensuing search of Mr. Patterson’s vehicle yielded marijuana joints and a bag of marijuana.

On 26 Jul 07 Mary L. Fulmer, age 83, 500 Lawton Road, Marietta, reported since making a $2,000 deposit for the construction of a patio room in October of 2006 the builder has yet to appear to begin the project. This case remains under investigation (1184).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Tony Winfield Menefee, age 32, 2116 Miller Avenue, Belpre, for failure to appear and for possessing an open container of alcohol, both misdemeanors. Menefee was arrested on Wyatt Lane in Belpre by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jul 07 at 8:55 pm.

Johnny Sanford Miller, age 55, 76 Hazelwood Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jul 07 at 11:25 pm.
