On 19 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Durham responded to the scene of death of a fifty-four year old Waterford resident. The man’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.

On 19 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks arrested Anita E. Fischer, age 40, 1400 Coal Street, Chesterhill, for OVI, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for driving with expired tags. Noticing Ms. Fischer’s plates expired in 2006, Deputy Smeeks stopped the vehicle on State Route 555. As Ms. Fischer retrieved her license from her purse Deputy Smeeks detected an odor of alcohol and observed a burnt marijuana roach on the seat. Explaining she consumed beer while she canned beans, Ms. Fischer performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was also found in possession of a bag of marijuana. When transported to the Washington County Jail Ms. Fischer tested .095% BAC.

On 19 Jul 07 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Michael P. Mayes, age 25, 2008 Elizabeth Street Apt. A, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Mayes on Blennerhassett Avenue at Civitan Park in Belpre.

On 19 Jul 07 Elisha Barnes, 1207 Lancaster Street, Marietta, reported finding two unwanted letters deposited on her doorstep the previous day. Mrs. Blind declined to pursue charges after Major Winstanley informed the suspected letter writer to cease any contact with Mrs. Blind.

William M. Balser, age 40, 455 Charleston Drive Apt. C3, Ripley, WV, for failing to appear to serve six days in jail on 10 Jul 07.

Amy S. Farnsworth, age 21, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,788.50.

Devin M. Haynes, age 21, 15 Walnut Street, Belpre, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,269.45.

Allesandra C. Jiambai, age 19, 3514 Antoinette Drive, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $273.00.

Angela M. Lipscomb, age 36, 1095 Clement Avenue, Belpre, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $685.10.

Tony W. Menefee, age 32, 2116 Miller Avenue, Belpre, for possessing an open container of alcohol on 3 Jul 07.

Travis E. McPherson, age 19, 510 Porter Drive, Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license on 7 Mar 07.

Jackson O. Patterson, age 22, 719 Orchard Street, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $451.50.

Steven S. Pierce, age 18, 12500 State Route 690, Athens, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $274.00.

James D. Reynolds, age 45, 907 Riverview Estates, Belpre, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $892.30.

Phillip E. Singer, age 39, 40 Hanover Road, Cutler, for OVI, driving under an FRA suspended license, for driving left of center and for not wearing a seat belt on 6 Jul 07.

Elizabeth A. West, age 25, 906 Fifth Street, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,029.60.

Christopher K. Young, age 41, 4408 Crowne Lake Circle Apt. 3H, Jamestown, NC, for failing to appear for pretrial on 17 Jul 07.

Rebecca Dawn Gessel, age 24, 836 Pike Street Apt. 7, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Gessel was arrested at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 2:20 am.

Jared Talmadge Vaughn, age 30, 4016 Cass Street, Tampa, FL, for OVI and for failure to obey a traffic control device, both misdemeanors. Vaughn was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 3:20 am.

Nicholas Allen Clark, age 25, 102 Jefferson Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Clark was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 8:30 am.

Belinda Jo Seabolt, age 31, PO Box 41, Kincaid, WV, for breach of recognizance and theft, both felonies. Seabolt was picked up at the Southeastern Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 1:32 pm.

Billy Steven Casto, age 27, 7457 Sigmon Fork Road, Charleston, for theft, a felony. Casto was picked up at the Southeastern Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 1:50 pm.

Mark Dominic Heitzenrater, age 21, 201 Swans Lane, Saint Albans, WV, for theft, forgery and burglary, all felonies. Heitzenrater was picked up at the Southeastern Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 2:04 pm.

Juaniqua Monique Brown, age 26, 985 17th Street, Columbus, for obstructing official business and for possessing an open container of alcohol, both misdemeanors. Brown was arrested on Third Street in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 3:02 pm.

Linda Elizabeth Lasure, age 24, 809 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, for theft, a felony. Lasure was arrested at Wal-Mart in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 3:19 pm.

Christopher Lee Perry, age 22, Route 2 Box 52A, Harrisville, WV, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Perry was arrested at the Courthouse by Lt. Coppernoll of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 4:17 pm.

Kenneth Eugene Goff, age 46, 845 County House Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Goff was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Smith and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 4:50 pm.

Anita Edneva Fischer, age 40, 1400 Coal Street, Chesterhill, for OVI, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for operating a vehicle without license plates, all misdemeanors. Fischer was arrested on State Route 555 by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 4:57 pm.

James E. Kirkpatrick III, age 44, 715 Florence Street, Belpre, for possession of drugs, a felony. Kirkpatrick was arrested in Belpre by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 07 at 11:24 pm.
