On 5 Jul 07 Lt. Wilson and Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued minor misdemeanor citations to William D. McFall, age 48, 823 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, and John W. Addlesburger, age 33, 6658 Archers Fork Road, New Matamoras, for disorderly conduct. McFall and Addlesburger were part of a large congregation of people in the streets of New Matamoras in the early hours of the morning and approached the Deputies during a traffic stop. Both suspects acted agitated at the presence of Deputies, repeatedly spewed insults and refused to cooperate with law enforcement officials.

On 5 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Morris responded to an assault complaint at the residence of Amanda J. Sampe, age 26, 960 Cats Creek Road, Lowell. En route to the scene, Deputy Morris encountered Ms. Sampe driving her vehicle, which she then stopped in the middle of the road. Ms. Sampe stated Matthew S. Nixon, age 25, Marietta, hit her in the forehead and that in retaliation she struck him in the groin. A witness however, stated both parties had been drinking and Ms. Sampe began the altercation by shoving and slapping Mr. Sanford. As a result, Ms. Sampe and Mr. Nixon were both charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. Additionally, Deputy Morris administered field sobriety tests on Ms. Sampe and determined she was driving her vehicle in a state of intoxication. At the Washington County Jail Ms. Sampe tested .103% BAC.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Amanda Jo Sampe, age 26, 960 Cats Creek Road, Lowell, for OVI and for disorderly conduct by intoxication, both misdemeanors. Sampe was arrested on Cats Creek Road by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 07 at 9:15 am.

Matthew Sanford Nixon, age 25, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for three counts of failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Nixon was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 07 at 9:25 am.

Stephanie E. Rector, age 23, 1201 County House Lane, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Rector was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 07 at 1:40 pm.

Andrew Brooks Beaver, age 25, 100 Westchester Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Beaver was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 07 at 6:28 pm.
