On 4 Jul 07 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Michael P. Walker, age 30, 87 Main Street, Coolville, for not stopping at a stop sign. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Walker after he failed to stop at the intersection of Arrowhead Drive and US 50 in Belpre Township.

On 4 Jul 07 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Teresa A. Dennis, age 38, 224 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, for operating with an expired license. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Dennis on US 50 at the Belpre exit in Belpre Township.

On 4 Jul 07 Lindsey Tennant, age 21, 50 Cramer Drive, Marietta, reported she has not seen or heard from her twenty-four year old live-in boyfriend of four years since he left their residence at midnight. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 4 Jun 07 Julie Ash, age 31, 200 Pennock Drive Lot 16, Beverly, reported being assaulted by her brother Robert J. Warden, age 35, 5085 Whipple Run Road, Whipple, at his residence. Ms. Ash stated she was attempting to intervene in a dispute between her brother and his wife that was taking place in front of their two small children when her brother attacked her. As Ms. Ash tried to enter the residence Mr. Warden trapped her in the screen door and repeatedly slammed the glass into her face, causing a split lip and injured wrist. As a result of his actions Mr. Warden was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 4 Jul 07 Leonard R. Parsons, age 39, 147 Allen Street, Little Hocking, reported between 10:30 pm on 3 Jul and 12:15 the following morning an unknown suspect(s) stole a Suzuki RM125 motorcycle from his front yard. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 4 Jul 07 Geoff Urbaniak, age 18, 428 Strecker Lane, Marietta, reported during the night an unknown suspect entered his locked vehicle and stole a CD player, two sets of keys and loose change. This case remains under investigation (953).

On 4 Jul 07 Lawrence Erb, age 41, 225 Henniger Road, Lowell, reported a Craftsman air tool set and a Lincoln MIG welder were stolen from his storage building at his former residence at 209 Fifth Street, Lowell. This case remains under investigation (953).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Robert John Warden, age 35, 5085 Whipple Run Road, Whipple, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Warden was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Brockmeier of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 07 at 4:10 am.

Leroy Gerald Everett Best, age 24, 306 Putnam Avenue, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for possessing an open container of alcohol, both misdemeanors. Best was arrested on Maple Street in Marietta by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 07 at 6:20 pm.
