On 3 Jul 07 Lt. Huffer issued a citation to
Matthew T. Bennett, age 41, PO Box 14, Amesville, for traveling
57 mph in a 40 mph zone. Lt. Huffer stopped Mr. Bennett near
milepost eleven on State Route 550 in Barlow Township.
On 3 Jul 07 Lt. Huffer issued a citation to
Christopher L. Lauer, age 21, 8950 State Route 339, Vincent,
for traveling 58 mph in a 40 mph zone. Lt. Huffer stopped Mr.
Lauer near milepost eleven on State Route 550 in Barlow Township.
On 3 Jul 07 Denzil Rose, age 67, 1749 Congress
Road, Belpre, reported an individual known to him has opened
four credit accounts in his name and used them to amass $13,000
in debt. This case remains under investigation (8411).
On 3 Jul 07 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to
Amiee R. Doak, age 33, 1213 Wyatt Lane Apt. A, Belpre, for
driving under an FRA suspended license. Lt. Wilson stopped
Mr. Doak on Joe Skinner Road in Belpre Township.
On 3 Jul 07 Lt. Wilson issued a minor misdemeanor
citation to Tony W. Menefee, age 32, 2116 Miller Avenue, Belpre,
for possessing an open container of alcohol. Lt. Wilson observed
Mr. Menefee standing in the parking lot of the Station Carryout
holding and consuming a can of beer.
On 3 Jul 07 Randall Wilson, age 49, 2288 Sealy
Ridge Road, Vincent, reported while he was a guest in the county
jail over the past three days an unknown suspect(s) entered
his locked trailer and stole a VCR, a DVD player and two speakers.
This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 3 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a
citation to James L. Allen, age 54, 1415 Lancaster Street Apt.
6C, Marietta, for traveling 56 mph in a 35 mph zone. Deputy
Morris stopped Mr. Allen on Gilman Avenue at the Washington
Street Bridge in Marietta Township.
On 3 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a
citation to Michelle M. Slagle, age 35, 219 Virginia Street,
Marietta, for traveling 53 mph in a 35 mph zone. Deputy Morris
stopped Ms. Slagle on Gilman Avenue at the Washington Street
Bridge in Marietta Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Gary Allen McQuaide, age 40, 1305 Beechwood
Drive, Lancaster, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. McQuaide
was arrested in Juvenile Court by Captain Brum of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 3 Jul 07 at 12:35 pm.
John Lewis Lindsey II, age 31, 230 Henniger Road, Lowell,
for violating the terms of a protection order, a felony. Lindsey
was arrested in Common Pleas Court by Corrections Officer Farrell
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jul 07 at
5:05 pm.
Tracey Lee Dailey, age 28, 2700 Lottridge Road, Guysville,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Dailey was picked up at the Southeastern
Regional Jail in Nelsonville by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jul 07 at
6:45 pm.
Crystal Sue Fisher, age 30, 129 ½ Spring Street, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license and for not wearing a
seat belt, both misdemeanors. Fisher was arrested at Buckeye
Park in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 3 Jul 07 at 6:58 pm.
Joseph Paul Smith, age 21, 404 ½ Montgomery Street,
Marietta, for failing to reinstate his operator’s license
and for operating a vehicle without license plates, both misdemeanors.
Smith was arrested on Putnam Street in Marietta by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 3 Jul 07 at 9:50 pm.
Jason Matthew Arnold, age 27, 1235 Elm Street, Zanesville,
for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Arnold was arrested near milepost seventeen on Interstate 77
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 3 Jul 07 at 10:23 pm.
