On 2 Jul 07 Kathy Gaskins, age 34, 17 Lauer
Road, Whipple, reported sometime over the past three days an
unknown suspect poured oiled between the cracks of the cover
of her water reservoir, causing the pump to the residence to
shut off intermittently. This case remains under investigation
(1001).
On 2 Jul 07 Terry L. McAlarney, age 69, 5195
Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, reported a neighbor with whom
he has had an ongoing dispute may have shut off the electric
and water to the property he rents. Mr. McAlarney declined
to pursue the matter, only wanting the matter recorded (1183).
JUVENILES CAUGHT FOLLOWING BREAKING & ENTERING
On 2 Jul 07 Deputies were dispatched to the vicinity of 330
Main Street, Waterford after a nearby resident reported several
juveniles were possibly breaking windows out at Waterford High
School. When Deputy Sheriff Rhodes arrived at the scene a witness
informed him the several juveniles ran away from the school.
Interviewed by Deputy Rhodes, the five juveniles from the Waterford
area admitted to breaking into the wood shop of the school
and stealing tools. The juveniles’ admissions were corroborated
by the discovery of a backpack on the roof of the school that
contained tools and was definitively linked to one of the juveniles
involved. Charges are pending on the five males, aged ten,
eleven, twelve, twelve and fifteen.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Daniel Edward Hendrickson, age 53, 801 Third
Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Hendrickson
was arrested on Knox Street in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 07 at 5:11 am.
Marla Joanne Mankins, age 40, 11175 State
Route 821, Lower Salem, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor.
Mankins turned herself in to Deputy Sheriff Mankins and was
processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 07 at 10:49
am.
Gregory Alan Huxley, age 48, 1326 Avery Street, Parkersburg,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Huxley
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 07 at
11:11 am.
