On 1 Jul 07 Rose Marie Hardman, age 34, 24 Pettyville Gardens, Mineral Wells, struck a deer while traveling westbound on US 50 near Drag Strip Road. The windshield and front left fender of Ms. Hardman’s Toyota Camry sustained functional damage. Of the four passengers only Ms. Hardman reported injuries and was transported to Camden Clark Hospital (200).

On 1 Jul 07 Deputy Sheriff Norman responded to the scene of death of a fifty-four year old Cutler resident. The woman’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Hugh Douglas McGrew, age 19, 109 Colonial Square Apt. B, Belpre, for two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. McGrew was arrested on Washington Boulevard in Belpre by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jul 07 at 2:24 am.

David Allen Sayre, age 42, 223 Sheldon Avenue, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Sayre was arrested in Belpre by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jul 07 at 1:49 pm.
