On 30 Jun 07 Eric C. Fullerton, age 32, 22
First Lane, Belpre, reported between 6 and 8 pm that evening
his 1993 Chevy Silverado was stolen from near his home. The
following day a witness observed David A. Sayre, age 42, 223
Sheldon Avenue, Marietta, walking in the vicinity of the stolen
truck that was abandoned on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner
Road. When contacted by Sgt. Underwood, Mr. Sayre had a satellite
radio in his backpack that Mr. Fullerton stated was missing
from inside the truck. As a result, Mr. Sayre was arrested
for the theft of the radio and transported to the Washington
County Jail. The theft of the truck remains under investigation
(200).
On 30 Jun 07 Jennifer Jordan, age 37, 134
Masonic Park Lane, Marietta, reported being punched by Sandra
K. Lewis, age 59, 506 Pike Street, Marietta, after a brief
confrontation. Ms. Jordan stated to Deputy Sheriff Reynolds
that Ms. Lewis was a former resident of the apartments and
that Ms. Lewis caused problems in the past. For an unknown
reason Ms. Lewis was reading license plate numbers into her
phone, prompting Ms. Jordan to go outside and to photograph
Ms. Lewis’ vehicle in case a problem occurred. This angered
Ms. Lewis, who knocked the camera from Ms. Jordan’s hands
and punched her in the right jaw. Citing corroborating witnesses,
Deputy Reynolds requested a summons for Ms. Lewis for assault.
On 30 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested
a summons for Robert Armstrong, age 48, 28295 State Route 26,
New Matamoras, for allowing his cattle to remain at large.
An ongoing problem for at least a year, Helen Rings, age 74,
336 Long Eddy Road, New Matamoras, reported seven of Mr. Armstrong’s
cows were in her yard and caused damage.
On 30 Jun 07 Annette L. Bauerbach, age 46,
3400 Rainbow Road, Lowell, reported an individual against whom
she has a protection order engaged her in a confrontation outside
off Quimby’s Bar earlier that evening. This case remains
under investigation (1299).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Edward Gable Lawrence, age 32, 1225 Glen Royal Terrace, Deland,
FL, for OVI, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia,
all misdemeanors. Lawrence was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman
Kirby of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 Jun 07 at 12:45 am.
Lianna Renee Brown, age 18, 1070 Mount Tom Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Brown
was arrested at Jefferson Square by Patrolman Hansen of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 Jun 07 at 1:18 pm.
