On 29 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks arrested
Kevin J. McRhea, age 36, 838 Front Street Apt. A, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license, possession of drugs
and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stopping Mr. McRhea’s
vehicle for not having a front license plate, Deputy Smeeks
deployed his canine for an exterior sniff of the vehicle. The
drug dog indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle and
Deputy Smeeks discovered a bag of marijuana and a marijuana
pipe under the driver’s seat.
On 29 Jun 07 a fifteen year old Mountain View,
CA resident suffered a broken tibia during an ATV accident
at 405 Close Road, Waterford. Visiting along with his friend
at his friend’s grandmother’s home, the victim
was temporarily pinned under the ATV his friend was driving
and on which he was riding when the ATV rolled (1184).
On 29 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Durham investigated
an accidental overdose involving an eighteen year old Newport
resident. When Deputy Durham arrived at Marietta Memorial Hospital
the victim was conscious and coherent, at which time he stated
he took two Xanax pills at his girlfriend’s house and
fell asleep. The victim will be released following further
treatment and evaluation.
On 29 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued
a citation to Thomas A. Hedrick, age 23, Route 1 Box 194, Cairo,
WV, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Rhodes stopped
Mr. Hedrick on US 50 near Federal Road in Belpre Township.

Office received the following warrants:
Lianna R. Brown, age 18, 1070 Mount Tom Road,
for violating the terms of her probation.
Brett Salley, age 22, 908 Fourth Street, Sandusky, OH, for
contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
an order to show cause on 18 Jun 07.
Clay R. McLain, age , for failing to appear for a bond hearing
and arraignment on 22 Jun 07.
Ann M. Long, age 33, 4736 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, for contempt
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $1,381.90.
Joseph S. Leighliter, age 29, 1006 Charles Street, Parkersburg,
for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $318.50.
Misty D. Henry, age 21, 903 Mitchell Avenue Apt. E, Beverly,
for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $175.50.
Ryan B. Francisco, age 22, 1205 14th Street, Parkersburg,
for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $403.
Jessica L. Stevens, age 25, Hillcrest Drive Apt. 39, Marietta,
for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,493.70.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jerimiah Jay Robinette, age 24, 39517 Carpenter
Hill Road, Pomeroy, for driving under a suspended license,
possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all
misdemeanors. Robinette was arrested in Marietta at the intersection
of Front Street and Sacra Via by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jun 07
at 3:15 am.
Misty Dawn Henry, age 21, 400 Main Street,
Waterford, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Henry was arrested on State
Route 339 in Beverly by Chief Brockmeier of the Beverly Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
29 Jun 07 at 12:45 pm.
Katherine Louise Edwards, age 48, 913 Tess Street, Parkersburg,
for a felony charge of receiving stolen property and misdemeanor
charges of disorderly conduct by intoxication and breach of
recognizance. Edwards was picked up in Wood County by Deputy
Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 29 Jun 07 at 1:30 pm.
