On 28 Jun 07 a thirty-four year old New Matamoras resident reported that around 1 pm her sixteen year old daughter left their home without permission and in violation of Juvenile Court home confinement and has not been heard from since. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 28 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Reynolds investigated the theft of a Kawasaki ATV from the yard of Jerry Lott, age 47, 2680 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent. Conducting interviews, Deputy Reynolds learned from Justin Moran, age 19, 2810 State Route 555, Little Hocking, that he helped Randall C. Wilson, age 49, 2288 Sealy Ridge Road, push the ATV from Mr. Lott’s yard to a friend’s neighboring yard. Though both suspects admitted taking the four wheeler, they each implicate the other as the principal in the theft. As a result, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Moran were arrested for grand theft and transported to the Washington County Jail.

ARRESTS YIELDS STOLEN FIREARMS

On 28 Jun 07 members of the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of Larry G. Thompson Sr., age 45, 120 Ward Street, Marietta. The search warrant was obtained as part of the investigation into the trafficking of marijuana at Mr. Thompson’s address. Previously, a confidential informant had purchased marijuana from Mr. Thompson. Among items seized during today’s search warrant were two firearms conclusively linked to two area burglaries. Buy money from a previous transaction was also recovered. Also arrested at the residence was Stacy R. (Thompson) Stevens, age 27, 116 Harmar Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her parole by being in possession of a medication without a prescription. Additional charges on both subjects may be forthcoming.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Larry Gale Thompson Sr., age 45, 120 Ward Street, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Thompson was arrested at the his residence by Detective Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 07 at 10:30 am.

Scot Alan Edgerton, age 45, 708 Eighth Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Edgerton was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 07 at 11:00 am.

Stacy Renee Thompson, age 27, 116 Harmar Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her parole, a felony. Thompson was arrested 120 Ward Street by Detective Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 07 at 11:02 am.

Paul James Keaser, age 29, 441 Eddy Street, Newark, for two felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Keaser was picked up at the Muskingum County Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 07 at 2:00 pm.

Justin Michael Moran, age 19, 2810 State Route 555, Little Hocking, for automobile theft, a felony. Moran was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 07 at 3:25 pm.

Randall Craig Wilson, age 49, 2288 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for automobile theft, a felony. Wilson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 07 at 3:40 pm.

Randy Deshon Nooner, age 31, 110 First Court, Belpre, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Nooner was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 07 at 10:00 pm.

William Eugene Deford Jr., age 36, 808 Front Street, Marietta, for failure to appear, a felony. Deford was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jun 07 at 11:40 pm.
