On 18 Jun 07 Wilma Baldwin, age 77, 2300 State Route 376, Stockport, reported she was loading groceries into her car after shopping at Dollar General in Lowell when an unknown suspect stole her purse from her grocery cart. This case remains under investigation (296).

Bruce A. Guckert, age 47, 139 Leland Avenue, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 4 Jun 07.

Delmer L. Rhodes, age 56, 105 Gilman Street Lot 10, for issuing a bad check to the Pit Stop for $95.39 on 23 Jan 07.

John C. Heldman, age 52, 1348 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for permitting an unlicensed driver to operate his vehicle on 15 May 07.

Michael K. Kelley, age 24, 409 Riverside Drive, Saint Marys, for fishing in the Ohio River without a license on 26 May 07.

Kristin L. McGuire, age 33, 820 Windy Ridge Road, Vincent, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.

Jeanette L. Piggott, age 33, 601 Barclay Street Lot 1, Belpre, for failing to appear for pretrial on 13 Jun 07.

Michael T. Rafa, age 19, 1512 Hildreth Avenue, Wheeling, WV, for possessing an open container of alcohol at the Lowell Dam on 26 May 07.

Wayne A. Rhodes, age 18, 820 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, for the theft of four new tires from Hocking Tire Center on 13 Mar 07.

Alisha D. Small, age 26, 3006 Hemlock Avenue, Parkersburg, for driving with fictitious registration on 26 May 07.

Donnie G. Snyder, age 47, 603B Main Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to pay his fines in full or to appear to serve ten days in jail.

Athena Stillwagon, age 30, 55870 Barnesville Street, Barnesville, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Dallas Wiley Farnsworth, age 33, 266 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for complicity, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth was arrested at 100 N. Seventh Street in Marietta by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jun 07 at 6:03 am.

Terry Lee Chidester Jr., age 29, 216 Pennsylvania Avenue, Marietta, for felony charges of receiving stolen property and misuse of a credit card and for two misdemeanor charges of misused of a credit card. Chidester was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jun 07 at 7:23 am.

Kristen Nicole Hughes, age 20, 111 Montgomery Street Apt. 5, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hughes turned herself in to Patrolman Mitchell at the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jun 07 at 9:47 am.

Matthew Jason Barnhart, age 25, 910 Fourth Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of trafficking in drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drugs. Barnhart was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jun 07 at 12:42 pm.

Patrick Eugene Hupp, age 50, Third Street Lot 2, Beverly, for a felony charge of receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Hupp was picked up in Lexington, KY by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jun 07 at 5:00 pm.

Charles Clinton Carpenter, age 22, 403 Wirt Street, Belpre, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested at 100 N. Seventh Street in Marietta by Patrolman Hively of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jun 07 at 5:53 pm.

Aaron Keith Farnsworth, age 28, 700 Lulu Street Apt. 2, Parkersburg, for two counts of failure to appear and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested at Autozone in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Jun 07 at 7:00 pm.
