On 10 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Reynolds issued a citation to Latoya L. Russell, age 23, 1216 Mitchell’s Lane, Marietta, for failing to stop at a stop sign. Deputy Reynolds stopped Ms. Russell after he failed to stop at the intersection of State Route 7 and Mitchell’s Lane in Marietta Township.

On 10 Jun 07 Terry J. Ellis, age 63, 1705 Watertown Road, Waterford, reported during the night his Lang’s Masonry work truck was stolen from his driveway. Conducting a neighborhood canvass, Deputy Sheriff Evans located the missing truck less than half a mile away with nothing missing from inside. When interviewed by Deputy Evans, a nearby neighbor of Mr. Ellis, Harvest Lang, 1623 Watertown Road, reported ten oxycodone pills were stolen from a prescription bottle in his vehicle. These cases remain under investigation.

On 10 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Reynolds issued a citation to Jonathan L. Wallace, age 23, 1140 Hadley Hollow Road, Marietta, for driving a vehicle with expired registration. Deputy Reynolds stopped Mr. Wallace near milepost two on Interstate 77 in Belpre Township.

On 10 Jun 07 Charles Wells, age 45, 309 Main Street, Lower Salem, reported sometime since last Thursday afternoon an unknown suspect(s) entered his storage unit at 104 Ellsworth Avenue, Marietta and stole a router, a Nintendo Gamecube and miscellaneous tools. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 10 Jun 07 Eric C. May, age 34, 381 Harriett Street, Macksburg, reported being assaulted by Chad E. Morgenstern, age 29, 401 Third Street, Macksburg, while at a graduation party in Macksburg. Luring Mr. May into the street, Mr. Morgenstern sucker punched him. Bent over in pain, Mr. May was then kicked in the face by Mr. Morgenstern before the party’s DJ intervened. Witnesses confirmed Mr. Morgenstern was the primary aggressor, prompting Deputy Sheriff Reynolds to request a summons for him for assault.

On 10 Jun 07 Teresa L. Duskey, age 37, 303 Main Street, Beverly, reported between noon on 7 Jun and 11 am that morning an unknown suspect(s) entered her former residence at 310 Main Street Apt. D, Waterford and stole her six year old Dell computer. This case remains under investigation (1203).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Bobbie Jean Armstrong, age 32, 120 Western Avenue, Newark, OH, for OVI and for having a defective exhaust, both misdemeanors. Armstrong was arrested in Beverly by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jun 07 at 3:10 am.

Clarence A. Wriston III, age 33, 809 Virginia Street, Beverly, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Wriston was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jun 07 at 4:00 am.
