On 9 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued a citation to Sarah M. Lightner, age 25, 424 Third Street, Marietta, for driving a vehicle with expired registration. Deputy Rhodes stopped Ms. Lightner on State Route 7 at US 50 in Belpre Township.

On 9 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff McLeish requested a summons for a sixteen year old Parkersburg to appear in Juvenile Court for being delinquent. Following an argument over a cart race earlier in the day, the juvenile punched Tyler G. Heddleston, age 20, 11212 State Route 550. A group of witnesses then tackled the teenager before he could strike further.

On 9 Jun 07 James M. Rose, age 49, PO Box 184, Cheshire, OH, reported 3 and 9 Jun 07 an unknown suspect(s) cut the lock off his garage at 2620 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent and stole a Homelite chainsaw and two bicycles. This case remains under investigation (200).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ronald Bruce Sheridan, age 36, 124 Dean Street, Marietta, for littering, a misdemeanor. Sheridan was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jun 07 at 2:58 am.

Jamie Lea Palmer, age 26, 1113 Putnam Howe Drive, Belpre, for endangering children, a misdemeanor. Palmer turned herself in to Patrolman Jobes at the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jun 07 at 6:26 pm.

Dustin Lee Brooks, age 20, 2400 Bells Run Road, Newport, for being a repeat traffic offender and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Brooks was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jun 07 at 9:30 pm.
