On 8 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Spencer responded
to a report that Gary W. Harbison Sr., age 39, 255 Highland
Ridge Road, Marietta, stabbed himself in the leg with a knife.
Witnesses stated Mr. Harbison argued with his wife for several
hours that evening and that Mr. Harbison stabbed himself in
the right leg to prove how much he loved her. The Devola Volunteer
Fire Department transported Mr. Harbison to Marietta Memorial
Hospital where he received stitches and was released.
On 8 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a
citation to James S. Husk, age 21, 7274 Veto Road, Belpre,
for traveling 56 mph in a 40 mph zone on Veto Road. Acting
suspiciously during the stop, Mr. Husk was searched and found
in possession of two Adderall pills in a cigarette pack. As
a result, Mr. Husk was arrested for possession of drugs and
transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 8 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Morris arrested
Christopher K. Young, age 41, 16735 Lindsay Street, Detroit,
MI, for his third OVI and for operating without a license.
Stopped for not stopping at a stop sign at the interstate 77
off ramp at exit 6, Mr. Young had an odor of alcohol and bloodshot
eyes. Mr. Young submitted to field sobriety tests with poor
results and was transported to the Washington County Jail where
he tested .115% BAC.
On 8 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Reynolds issued
a citation to Lori M. Wright, age 24, 919 Fifth Street, Marietta,
for driving a vehicle with expired registration. Deputy Reynolds
stopped Ms. Wright on Pike Street at North Hart Street in Pioneer
Township.
On 8 Jun 07 Corey W. Seeger, age 20, 122 Tennis
Center Drive Apt. 14, Marietta, reported $30 was stolen from
the wallet he left in his unlocked truck that evening. This
case remains under investigation (296).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Bryan David Babcock, age 40, 516 ½ Third Street, Marietta,
for OVI, driving under a suspended license and for having fictitious
plates, all misdemeanors. Babcock was arrested at Go Mart in
Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 07 at 1:04 am.
James Stuart Husk, age 21, 7274 Veto Road, Belpre, for possession
of drugs, a felony. Husk was arrested on State Route 339 by
Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 8 Jun 07 at 1:24 am.
Charles Edward Haught III, age 23, 425 Dodd
Run Road, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Haught
turned himself in to Detective Schuck of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Jun 07 at 12:10 pm.
Christopher Kevin Young, age 41, 16735 Lindsay Street, Detroit,
MI, for OVI and for operating without a license, both misdemeanors.
Young was arrested on State Route 821 by Deputy Sheriff Morris
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 07 at
1:30 pm.
Michael James Dilo, age 29, 1507 St. Marys Avenue, Parkersburg,
for being a fugitive from justice and for a felony charge of
violating the terms of his parole. Dilo was arrested on Interstate
77 by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Jun 07 at 2:00 pm.
Janerio Ricardo Dilo, age 24, 79 State Street, Athens, for
operating without a license, a misdemeanor. Dilo was arrested
on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 07 at 2:30 pm.
Herbert Leroy Nunn II, age 32, 845 County House Lane, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Nunn was arrested
at his residence by Probation Officer Gilchrist and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 07 at 4:50 pm.
Matthew James Sinclair, age 18, 915 31st Street, Parkersburg,
for felony charges of theft and robbery and a misdemeanor charge
of assault. Sinclair was picked up in Somona County, CA by
Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 8 Jun 07 at 9:17 pm.
Brian Lee Miller, age 42, 105 Franklin Street, Marietta, for
domestic violence and for violating the terms of a protection
order, both felonies. Miller was arrested at his residence
by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jun 07 at
9:45 pm.
