On 4 Jun 07 Deputy Sheriff Staats investigated
the theft of property from vehicles parked at the residences
of Joshua R. Miller, age 22, 567 Groves Avenue, Marietta, and
Matthew B. Belt, age 34, 740 Cole-Coffman Road, Marietta. Stolen
items from the vehicles include a bag of EMT supplies, a Marlin
.22 caliber rifle, cash, loose change, a debit card and a credit
card.
On 4 Jun 07 an employee of Marietta Industrial
Enterprises, 17943 State Route 7, Marietta, reported over the
weekend a fifty foot roll of twelve gauge copper wire and a
three hundred foot roll of eighteen gauge copper wire were
stolen from the business’ maintenance shop. This case
remains under investigation (515).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Wilson Bubner, age 18, 1605 Mount Tom Road,
Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Bubner was arrested on Quarry
Street by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Jun 07 at 11:03 am.
Joshua Alan Beaver, age 27, 101 Evans Street Apt. B11, New
Matamoras, for being a fugitive from justice. Beaver was arrested
at his residence by Sgt. Brockmeier of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 4 Jun 07 at 7:09 pm.
Mark Randolph Maynard, age 40, 25 Smith Drive, Marietta, for
OVI, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and for
driving left of center, all misdemeanors. Maynard was arrested
on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 4 Jun 07 at 10:06 pm.
