On 30 May 07 Dorothy Stephan, age 82, 826
Masonic Park Road, Marietta, reported between the afternoons
of 26 May and 30 May her purse was stolen from her unlocked
vehicle parked at her son’s residence at 432 Reynolds
Road in Vincent. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 30 May 07 Sunshine R. Craig, age 28, 6970
State Route 821, Whipple, reported after the driver of a Ford
Explorer nearly struck her vehicle when she exited Interstate
77 at exit six, the driver followed her to the Pit Stop, yelled
at her and called her names. This case remains under investigation
(1001).
On 30 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Jadea J. Conte, age 27, 300 Fourth Street, Marietta,
for failure to obey a traffic control device. Deputy Mankins
stopped Ms. Conte after she turned left from Putnam Street
onto Front Street despite a sign forbidding such action between
4 pm and 6 pm.
SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN WASHINGTON COUNTY NARCOTICS
ROUNDUP
On Wednesday 30 May 07 Detectives from the Washington County
Narcotics Unit and Agents of the Major Crimes Task Force obtained
arrest warrants for thirteen individuals involved in narcotics-related
activities in Washington County.
Arrested to date are:
John F. Frazier, age 56, 27335 State Route 7, Marietta, for
obtaining, possessing, or using cocaine, a Schedule II controlled
substance, on 6 Mar 07, a fifth degree felony. At the time
of his arrest Frazier was in possession of nine balloons of
black tar heroin and additional charges are pending.
Heidi A. Huck, age 33, homeless, Marietta, for aiding or abetting
Andy Huck on 25 Apr 07 ucin trafficking in drugs, a fifth degree
felony.
Andrew A. Huck, age 29, homeless, Marietta, for selling less
than a gram of heroin, a schedule II controlled substance,
on 25 Apr 07, a fifth degree felony.
Troy J. Trent, age 27, 1574 Elizabeth Street Apt. A, Belpre,
for trafficking in drugs, a fifth degree felony.
David A. Lincoln, age 23, 510 Smith Street, Marietta, OH for
obstructing official business.
The Sheriff’s Office also executed a search warrant
at the residence of Delores Curtis, 309 Lord Street in Marietta.
This location was allegedly being utilized as a “crack
house”. Seized were pills, marijuana, a loaded handgun
and assorted drug paraphernalia. Detectives are continuing
to search for the eight other individuals.

David W. Wriston, age 22, 687 Wynncrest Drive,
Marietta, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.
Joshua M. Throener, age 26, 151 Estate Drive, Statesville,
NC, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $188.50.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Heidi Anne Huck, age 33, Marietta, for complicity in trafficking
in drugs, a felony. Huck was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta
by Detective Tilton of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30
May 07 at 9:23 am.
Andrew Alan Huck, age 29, Marietta, Marietta, for trafficking
in drugs, a felony. Huck was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta
by Detective Tilton of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30
May 07 at 9:41 am.
John Fredrick Frazier, age 56, 27335 State Route 7 Lot 64,
Marietta, for possession of drugs, a felony. Frazier was arrested
in Reno by Detective Tilton of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30
May 07 at 10:07 am.
Troy Jason Trent, age 27, 1574 Elizabeth Street
Apt. A, Athens, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Trent was
arrested on Elizabeth Street by Detective Tilton of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 May 07 at 10:30 am.
Lillie Belle Singer, age 47, 11827 State Route 555, Cutler,
for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Singer was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Deputy
Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 30 May 07 at 11:25 am.
David Wayne Wriston, age 22, 687 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Wriston was arrested
at Silvesco by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 30 May 07 at 1:18 pm.
Jerry Dean Coleman, age 46, 7188 Southdale Road, Stockport,
for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Coleman was arrested
on State Route 60 by Sgt. Brockmeier of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 May 07 at 1:30 pm.
David Anthony Lincoln, age 23, 510 Smith Street, Marietta,
for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Lincoln was
arrested at 309 Lord Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 May 07
at 2:56 pm.
