On 29 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a citation to Farrah D. Smarr, age 19, 3710 Loomis Ridge Road,
Parkersburg, for traveling 91 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy
Smeeks stopped Ms. Smarr near milepost ten on State Route 7
in Belpre Township.
On 29 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Sirianni arrested
Katherine L. Edwards, age 48, 836 Pike Street Apt. 4, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Witnesses at Sierra
Apartments stated in her intoxicated state, Ms. Edwards set
fire on more than one occasion to the mattress in her bedroom.
On 29 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a minor misdemeanor citation to Johnny R. Baker, age 19, 98
Emory Lane, Little Hocking, for disorderly conduct. Angered
during a verbal disagreement on 27 May, Mr. Baker threw a shoe
at his girlfriend and caused a minor injury.
On 29 May 07 Michael Depue, age 43, 110 Tecumseh
Drive, Marietta, reported between 1 am and 5 am the previous
morning unknown suspect(s) toilet papered a large portion of
his property. This case remains under investigation (501).
On 29 May 07 Raymond Grandon, age 82, 13826
State Route 550, Fleming, reported between 26 and 28 May 07
three yearling, one of which was a steer, were stolen from
his farm at 195 McGill Road, Vincent. This case remains under
investigation (501).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Katherine Louise Edwards, age 48, 836 Pike
Street Apt. 4, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication,
a misdemeanor. Edwards was arrested at her residence by Deputy
Sheriff Sirianni and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 29 May 07 at 6:19 am.
Grover Kelly Clawson, age 44, 1445 State Route
550, Bartlett, for a felony charge of using a weapon while
intoxicated and for a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence.
Clawson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 May 07
at 11:16 am.
Steven Devonne Wedekamm, age 39, 313 Hickman Run Road, Sistersville.,
WV, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Wedekamm was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Bourne of the
New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 May 07 at 11:15 pm.
