On 24 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Eddy requested a summons for a seventeen year old Marietta resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being delinquent. A witness at Deano’s Pizza in Lowell reported seeing the male attempting to hide a baggy of marijuana by swallowing it. When he was unable to swallow the marijuana he hid it in one shoe and his marijuana pipe in the other shoe. When questioned by Deputy Eddy the teenager relinquished his contraband and stated he smokes marijuana twice a day.

On 24 May 07 Margaret McBride, age 34, 470 Rummer Road, Marietta, reported while she was at work her ex-boyfriend entered her home, with permission granted by her roommate, and stole a stack of blank recordable CD’s. This case remains under investigation (586).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Stacy Mae Cook, age 44, 2780 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Cook was arrested at her residence by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 May 07 at 9:44 am.

Brian Andrew Barth, age 22, 150 Camelot Road Lot 17, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Barth was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 May 07 at 11:05 am.

John Lewis Snider, age 34, 599 Fancy Filly Circle, Martinsburg, WV, for two counts of operating without a license, reckless operation, for three counts of failure to appear, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer and for having fictitious plates, all misdemeanors. Snider was picked up at the Saint Marys Correctional Facility by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 May 07 at 12:20 pm.

Aaron Freeman Farnsworth, age 22, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for assault and for obstructing official business, both misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested at his residence by Detective Schuck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 May 07 at 12:39 pm.

Charles Wayne Loy Jr., age 33, 815 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Loy was arrested at Hardware Components by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 May 07 at 12:45 pm.

Clayton Randall Styer, age 20, 300 Alderman Street Lot 5, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Styer turned himself in to Patrolman Nedeff at the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 May 07 at 11:30 pm.
