On 18 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans requested
a summons for Goldie L. Brookover, age 46, 1421 Lancaster Street,
Marietta, for telephone harassment. Ms. Brookover ignored repeated
requests to stop phoning a thirty-four year old Marietta resident,
leaving three answering machine messages.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Walter Ricky Ayala, age 19, 228 Pike Street Apt. 666, Marietta,
for .02 underage breath OVI, driving under a suspended license,
for failing to yield at a flashing signal and for driving under
an OVI suspended license, all misdemeanors. Ayala was arrested
on Pike Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 18 May 07 at 2:40 am.
Victoria Lynn Burnett, age 53, 138 Rauch Drive, Marietta,
for OVI, obstruction of justice, driving under a suspended
license and for violating the terms of her probation, all misdemeanors.
Burnett was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by Lt. Wilson
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 18 May 07 at 3:30 am.
Jeffrey Allen Braun, age 20, 215 Caywood Road,
Marietta, for burglary, a felony. Braun was picked up at the
Noble Correctional Institution by Lt. Coppernoll of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 18 May 07 at 1:05 pm.
Kenneth Royden Sparks, age 29, 614 Simpson Street, Marietta,
for felony charges of breaking and entering and theft and a
misdemeanor charge for failure to appear. Sparks was picked
up in Lake City, FL by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 18 May 07 at 8:00 pm.
Mark Thompson, age 36, 708 Eighth Street, Marietta, for violating
the terms of his probation, a felony. Thompson was arrested
on St. Marys Avenue in Marietta by Probation Officer Gault
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 May 07
at 10:30 pm.
Eugene Daniel Golden, age 39, 795 Virginia Avenue, Welch,
WV, for two felony counts of theft. Golden was picked up at
the Stephens Correctional Institution in Welch, WV by Deputy
Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 18 May 07 at 10:45 pm.
