On 14 May 07 Kristi Hukill, age 46, 45 Bethel
Road, Marietta, reported on the morning of 8 May one or more
of her students stole a total of $80 from the purse she left
in her classroom at Warren High School. This case remains under
investigation (597).
On 14 May 07 a sixty-nine year old Belpre
resident reported for the past three months and increasingly
in the last two weeks an unknown suspect(s) continue to place
calls to his home phone and hang up without saying anything.
This case remains under investigation (1293).
On 14 May 07 James L. Antill Jr., age 23,
122 Tennis Center Drive Apt 31A, Marietta, reported while he
was away from his home earlier in the day his Dell computer
along with its monitor, keyboard and peripherals was stolen.
This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 14 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Simmons investigated
a private property crash at the residence rented by Victoria
L. Collins at 1024 Pike Street, Marietta. After dropping off
a friend at the residence John D. Potts II, age 62, 825 Pioneer
Lane, Marietta, when his 2000 Volkswagen Beetle coasted backwards
on the inclined driveway and struck the corner of the home.
The home and Mr. Potts’ vehicle sustained minor damage;
no injuries were reported.
On 14 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Staats issued
a citation to Tracy J. Honenik, age 45, 4462 SW Bimini Circle,
Palm City, FL, for traveling 83 mph in a 65 mph zone. Deputy
Staats stopped Ms. Honenik on Interstate 77 near milepost thirteen
in Salem Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Goldie Lynn Brookover, age 46, Drakes Trailer
Park, Lowell, for domestic violence and possession of drug
paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Brookover was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 14 May 07 at 12:30 am.
Robert Rector Jennings, age 46, 500 15th Avenue,
Vienna, for driving under an OVI suspended license and speeding,
both misdemeanors. Jennings was arrested in Belpre by Deputy
Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 14 May 07 at 10:10 am.
