On 6 May 07 Renee D. Shotwell, age 26, 6598
State Route 339, Vincent, reported suffering abrasions on her
fingers after being assaulted by her husband Robert, age 29.
Arguing outside over her husband wanting to drive after drinking,
Mrs. Shotwell would not allow her husband to have the keys
to their truck. Mr. Shotwell pushed his wife to the ground,
and ripped the keys from her clutches. Mr. Shotwell then left
the scene and was located on Rocky Point Road, passed out in
the truck. There Deputy Sheriff Staats arrested him for domestic
violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 6 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a
citation to Sarah K. Mariani, age 18, 3073 Englewood Drive,
Stow, OH for traveling 77 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Smeeks
stopped Ms. Mariani on US 50 near Federal Road in Belpre Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shaun Michael McFarland, age 28, 523 Phillips Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, possession of drugs and for nonsupport of dependants,
all misdemeanors. McFarland was arrested at the Four Seasons
in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
6 May 07 at 12:25 am.
Mark Wayne Robertson, age 24, 129 Elm Street, Belpre, for
OVI, operating without a license and for hit-skip, all misdemeanors.
Robertson was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Jobes
of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 6 May 07 at 12:35 am.
Stephen Edward Gruenberg, age 22, 1011 Remington Road, Pound,
VA, for littering on private property, a misdemeanor. Gruenberg
was arrested on Butler Street in Marietta by Officer Ruble
of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 6 May 07 at 1:24 am.
John Michael Heiss, age 40, 115 Laramie Road, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Heiss
was arrested at the Townhouse in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 6 May 07 at 2:33 am.
Joshua Lee Theobald, age 21, 14983 State Route 26, Reno, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Theobald
was arrested on Seventh Street in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 6 May 07 at 2:39 am.
Robert Braxton Shotwell, age 29, 6598 State Route 339, Vincent,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Shotwell was arrested
at 1015 Rocky Point Road by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 6 May 07 at 6:30 am.
