On 3 May 07 Lyle L. Finley II, age 55, 1119 Cisler Drive, Marietta, reported sometime since December last year an unknown suspect(s) shot a number of holes in an Iveco truck chassis he uses for spare parts and stores at his property on Township Road 149 in Lowell. This case remains under investigation (695).

On 3 May 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a minor misdemeanor citation to Marcquis T. Parham, age 23, 26 Pratt Street, Athens, for possession of marijuana. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Parham for speeding on State Route 7 in Belpre Township and discovered 3.9 grams of the drug during a consensual search.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ronald Bruce Sheridan, age 36, Marietta, for three misdemeanor counts of contempt of a court order. Sheridan was arrested at the Super 8 Motel in Marietta by Patrolman Hupp of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 May 07 at 12:22 am.

Jesse Aaron Anderson, age 23, 138 Franklin Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Anderson was arrested at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 May 07 at 1:45 am.
