On 29 Apr 07 Denise Lipscomb, age 44, 2118
Deerwalk Highway, Waverly, WV, reported she was helping a friend
in Beverly when an argument erupted with Lesa J. Jeffers, age
50, 225 Fourth Street, Beverly. Ms. Lipscomb state she was
walking away from Ms. Jeffers and speaking on the phone when
Ms. Jeffers punched her from behind, grabbed her hair and threw
her to the ground. Other parties separated the two as Ms. Lipscomb
attempted to defend herself. Corroborating Ms. Lipscomb’s
account with witnesses, Deputy Sheriff Reynolds arrested Ms.
Jeffers for assault and transported her to the Washington County
Jail.
On 29 Apr 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes arrested
Dana Lynn McIntosh, age 41, 109 Riverview Drive, Marietta,
for OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel.
Stopped for erratic driving on Front and Butler Streets, Ms.
McIntosh slurred her speech and stated she consumed three beers.
Following her poor performance on subsequent field sobriety
tests Ms. McIntosh was transported to the Washington County
Jail where she tested .143% BAC.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Steven Charles Barrett, age 44, 1039 Oak Street, Columbus,
for OVI and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Barrett was arrested
near milepost two on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29
Apr 07 at 12:10 am.
Romen Zachary Vandall, age 24, 124 Gilman Avenue, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Vandall
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 29 Apr 07 at 12:15 am.
Dana Lynn McIntosh, age 41, 109 Riverview Drive, Marietta,
for OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel,
both misdemeanors. McIntosh was arrested on Front Street in
Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 Apr 07 at 2:55 am.
Gerald Edwin Jones, age 25, 5852 Westbank Drive, Galloway,
OH, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Jones was arrested at the intersection
of Seventh and Greene Streets in Marietta by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 29 Apr 07 at 3:50 am.
Lesa Jean Jeffers, age 50, 225 Fourth Street, Beverly, for
assault, a misdemeanor. Jeffers was arrested in Beverly by
Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 29 Apr 07 at 2:45 pm.
William J. Greathouse II, age 30, 120 Fifth Street, Williamstown,
for driving under a suspended licensee and for speeding, both
misdemeanors. Greathouse was arrested near milepost sixteen
on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 29 Apr 07 at 5:25 pm.
