On 28 Apr 07 Jennifer Dye, age 31, 116 Warner
Street, Marietta, reported sometime since 15 Dec 06 an unknown
suspect(s) cut the lock off her storage unit at 4028 Blue Knob
Road and stole a 27” television. This case remains under
investigation (1001).
On 28 Apr 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans requested
a summons for Steven G. Farley, age 61, 300 Starlite Drive
Lot 4, Marietta, for telephone harassment. On two occasions
that afternoon Mr. Farley phoned and left derogatory and obscene
voicemail messages on a woman’s phone despite being ordered
not to do so.
On 28 Apr 07 Deputy Sheriff Staats arrested
Steven T. Hupp, age 36, 108 Seneca Drive, Marietta, for disorderly
conduct by intoxication. An employee at the Misty Blue reported
Mr. Hupp was extremely intoxicated and refused to leave the
establishment. Throughout his arrest Mr. Hupp was also uncooperative
and stunned with a Taser at the jail in order to be taken under
control.
On 28 Apr 07, while assisting a student who
locked his keys in his car at the Waterford High School Prom,
Deputy Sheriff Mankins observed a partially covered box of
Busch Light beer in the eighteen year old’s car. Though
the teenager denied the alcohol was his, discipline relating
to this incident will be handled by his probation officer.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Shane Vaughn, age 30, 300 Alderman Street Lot 2, Marietta,
for breaking and entering, a felony. Vaughn was arrested at
the Rinks flea market by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 07 at 1:45 pm.
Connie Sue Vaughn, age 36, 300 Alderman Street Lot 2, Marietta,
for breaking and entering, a felony. Vaughn was arrested at
the Rinks flea market by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 07 at 2:15 pm.
Tyler Zach Baker, age 20, 443 Oakland Boulevard, Cambridge,
for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Baker was
arrested at Marietta College by Officer Moon of the Marietta
College Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 28 Apr 07 at 5:40 pm.
Michael Bryan Daugherty, age 20, 64308 Warne Drive, Cambridge,
for underage consumption of alcohol and for underage alcohol
offenses, both misdemeanors. Daugherty was arrested at Marietta
College by Officer Moon of the Marietta College Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 07
at 5:40 pm.
Jonathon Martin Wheeler, age 24, 107 Sacra Via, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Wheeler was arrested near milepost twelve on State Route 7
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 28 Apr 07 at 7:00 pm.
Denver Ralph Goff Jr., age 36, 248 Mill Branch Road, Belpre,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Goff was arrested in
Belpre by Patrolman Davis of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 07
at 8:55 pm.
David Allen Sayres, age 42, Marietta, for disorderly conduct
by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Sayres was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 07
at 10:25 pm.
Steven Thomas Hupp, age 36, 108 Seneca Drive, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication and for criminal mischief,
both misdemeanors. Hupp was arrested at the Misty Blue by Deputy
Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 28 Apr 07 at 10:50 pm.
