On 26 Apr 07 Major Winstanley and Deputy Sheriff Stackpole encountered a subject on Front Street leaning against a building, stuffing an item in his pocket as they approached. The suspect, Cole D. Clark, age 22, 3268 Whitehead Road, Columbus, began walking away and ignored repeated requests for him to stop. When Mr. Clark did stop he threw a rolled dollar bill and baggy containing vegetation that tested positive for marijuana. Observing the dollar bill had been packed with marijuana and burnt on one end, Deputy Stackpole arrested Mr. Clark for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for obstructing official business and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 26 Apr 07 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Paulette E. Bailey, age 42, 309 Lord Street, Marietta, for driving under a license suspended for not paying child support. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Bailey on Gilman Avenue at Putnam Street in Marietta.

On 26 Apr 07 Nancy L. Williams, age 64, 4078 School House Road, Little Hocking, reported sometime since late February an unknown suspect obtained her credit card number and used it to purchase $1,134 worth of items in California and in England. This case remains under investigation (1184, 8411).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Matthew T. Dixon, age 40, 45 Atkins Street, Glouster, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $188.50.

Ronald S. Science, age 41, 206 ½ Gibbons Place Apt. B, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,093.30.

Ruthie Scoggan, for contempt for failing to appear for a hearing on 12 Apr 07.

Heidi Willey, age 25, 540 Dewey Avenue, Cambridge, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $165.65.

John M. Heiss, age 40, 115 Laramie Road, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 6 Apr 07.

Corey Boring, age 30, 2121 Panhandle Road Lot 13, Delaware, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 9 Apr 07.

Sunshine Farnsworth, age 22, 832 Saint Marys Avenue, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 6 Apr 07.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

William Allen Jacobs, age 19, 306 Colegate Drive, Marietta, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Jacobs was arrested in the Advance Auto parking lot by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 07 at 1:05 am.

Cole Demetri Clark, age 22, 3268 Whitehead Road, Columbus, for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for obstructing official business, all misdemeanors. Clark was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 07 at 1:35 am.

Paulette Ellen Bailey, age 42, 309 Lord Street, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Bailey was arrested on Gilman Avenue in Marietta by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 07 at 2:55 am.

Michael Deeds Hammond, age 20, 104 Riley Drive Apt. 10, Marietta, for a felony charge of failure to appear and a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Hammond was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 07 at 3:00 am.

Jeremy David Wright, age 24, 533 Third Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Wright was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 07 at 3:50 am.

Kenneth Joel Rexroad, age 49, PO Box 829, Elizabeth, WV, for possession of drugs and for possessing an open container of alcohol, both misdemeanors. Rexroad was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 07 at 4:25 am.

Jamie Dawne Shoemaker, age 29, 3756 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Shoemaker was arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Apr 07 at 9:54 pm.
