On 25 Apr 07 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued a citation to Crystal F. Chutes, age 48, 100 Circle Lane Apt. C2, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Rhodes stopped Ms. Chutes on Putnam Street at Fourth Street in Marietta.

On 25 Apr 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans investigated a report of a stolen motorcycle at a residence on State Route 555 in Bartlett. Locating the 2001 Honda, Deputy Evans confirmed the bike was the one reported stolen from a Reynoldsburg dealership late last year. Deputy Evans seized the motorcycle pending further investigation.

On 25 Apr 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a citation to Jeffrey J. Brown, age 24, 915 Front Street, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Evans stopped Mr. Brown on Front Street at Greene Street in Marietta.

On 25 Apr 07 Lt. Wilson conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that pulled into the parking lot of Advanced Auto Parts for having an inoperable license plate. Contacting the driver, William A. Jacobs, age 19, 306 Colegate Drive, Marietta, Lt. Wilson detected an odor of alcohol. Mr. Jacobs voluntarily submitted to a breath test and field sobriety tests, both with poor results. As a result, Lt. Wilson arrested Mr. Jacobs for OVI and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Danielle Ann Vanwey, age 23, 132 Greene Street Apt. B, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Vanwey was arrested at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 07 at 2:30 am.

Kerri Anne Weaver, age 32, 440 Main Street, Waterford, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Weaver was arrested near milepost three on State Route 821 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 07 at 1:20 pm.

Jeremiah Allen Jeffers, age 23, 1382 Vickers Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Jeffers was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 07 at 1:30 pm.

Wesley Franklin Gibson, age 72, 633 Seventh Street, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Gibson was picked up at the Hocking Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 07 at 4:30 pm.

Betty Jo Kostka, age 54, 1501 Nevada Highway Lot 7, Boulder City, NV, for theft, a felony. Kostka was picked up in Las Vegas by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 07 at 5:55 pm.

Michael Lewis Leibrand, age 43, 1253 Gihon Avenue, Parkersburg, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Leibrand was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Apr 07 at 10:45 pm.
