On 23 Apr 07 Hubert Cuss, age 78, 1525 Mount
Tom Road, Marietta, reported tenants he is in the process of
evicting from 1445 Mount Tom Road cut down a number of trees
on the property without permission. This case remains under
investigation (1001).
On 23 Apr 07 a twenty-two year old Marietta
resident reported a male with whom she used to work has been
stalking her for the past several months. The victim stated
the suspect watches her when she leaves work and questions
her coworkers about her work schedule. This case remains under
investigation (501).
On 23 Apr 07 Terry D. Casto, age 55, 36335
Old Camp Road, Coolville, reported since he last visited his
unoccupied property at 575 Michaels Road, Marietta on 21 Apr,
a Warner brand winch was stolen from a car hauler he parks
there. This case remains under investigation (1293).
On 23 Apr 07 Paul Hershberger, age 56, 190
Hershberger Lane, Amesville, reported between 18 and 22 Apr
07 an unknown suspect(s) pried open a door on his abandoned
farmhouse at 475 Tulles Road and rooted through the belongings
inside. Mr. Hershberger stated there was nothing of real value
in the home and no items appeared missing. This case remains
under investigation (1293).
On 23 Apr 07 a forty-nine year old Marietta
resident reported after he declined his fifteen year old son’s
request to buy a new game his son flew into a fit of rage,
kicked their new washing machine and broke his own glasses.
Due to this and prior incidents, Deputy Sheriff Stackpole requested
a summons for the juvenile to appear in Juvenile Court for
being unruly.
On 23 Apr 07 Carina Wittekind, age 23, 1007
Pike Street, Marietta, reported a men’s Def Leopard black
leather jacket was stolen from a storage unit she uses at 1001
Pike Street sometime during the last week. This case remains
under investigation (1001).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
James M. Cantwell Jr., age 34, 301 Broad Street, Macksburg,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Cantwell was arrested in Macksburg by
Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 Apr 07 at 12:19 am.
Justin Kyle Rockhold, age 20, 58 Sweetapple Road, Vincent,
for violating the terms of his probation, OVI, possession of
drugs and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, all
misdemeanors. Rockhold was arrested on US 50 by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 23 Apr 07 at 4:08 am.
Tiffany Anne Lightfritz, age 18, 1005 Orchard
Street Apt. 6, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Lightfritz turned herself in to Patrolman Hively at the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 Apr 07 at 5:09 pm.
Eric Ellis Luke, age 20, 309 Maple Street, Marietta, for failure
to appear, a misdemeanor. Luke was arrested at his residence
by Patrolman Hilverding of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Apr 07
at 5:47 pm.
Terence Lee Hayes, age 52, 114 Devol Drive, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hayes
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Apr 07
at 11:21 pm.
Ronald Scott Science, age 40, 627 Seventh Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence and for failure to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Science
was arrested on Cisler Drive in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 23 Apr 07 at 11:32 pm.
